First Annual Cripple Creek Ice FestivalWhen: February 8th - 10th and 15th - 18th Here are photos of the Cripple Creek ice festWhere: Outdoors in the heart of Cripple Creek on the 200 block of Bennett Avenue in front of your favorite casinos; Brass Ass, Bronco Billy's, Colorado Grande, Gold Rush, JP McGills and the Midnight Rose. What: World renowned ice sculptors will use chainsaws and assorted tools to create a larger-than-life winter scene of a mountain setting with a steam locomotive driving out of a tunnel, weighing over 30,000 pounds. Plus, you'll be able to wander thru a garden of wildlife including wolves, eagles, a moose, a buffalo and an elk. This exciting event is free to the public and is welcome to preview the work in progress from approximately 10 AM to 6 PM February 8 & 9....
