Tucked just down the street from the Broadmoor Hotel on a wide, tall tree lined streets sits a great new listing.  Unusual with its brick exterior for low maintenance.   Walking in the front door you are captivated and drawn forward by the living room with its warmth and wood accents and wall of windows to the outdoors.     Meandering through the house more surprises await.  The huge dining room sits between the kitchen and living room with easy access and plenty of room for family & friends or for those looking to remodel and want a more open floor plan.     The family room is another room that brings warmth to a new level with its rich wood accents, fire place and french doors leading to the back patio for dining & fun.     The rest of the house offers private living quarters with thr...

The Broadmoor Hotel is a 5 Star luxury hotel and resort. It was built in 1918 and has since then impressed its visitors with great service, ambiance and history - among them many, many celebrities . Between 1957 and 1975 it was the site of the World Figure Skating Championships.  While the Broadmoor Hotel has its price, I appreciate the fact that I can go , visit, enjoy, admire this historic place without dropping a dime - unless I want to, of course. Particularly during Christmas time, I like to go and see the lights that have been artfully woven through the trees and gardens.  At times, wour family will go to the illumination at the beginning of December. This year, we missed the illumination due to our vacation in Aruba. However, tonight was the night. I love, love, love the lights!...
