Prices in Castle Rock continue to be higher than the Metro Denver area at large with a median sales price of $325,000 and an average sales price of $404,717. As a consistent metric, we prefer to use the median, rather than the average, sales prices, because outliers can significantly influence the average price. The numbers below give a perfect example.
