Throwback Thursdays: went to an open house in 2012 I took a few pictures, because I had a hard time appreciating the benefits of this sign. here we are and I am still wondering. Now with that said 12 years later I still scratch my head what were the sellers thinking and what the benefit was?Clearly the listing agent could not convince them to remove it for the Open House.Basically, everywhere I went I saw the same signs, was this a Freudian slip, that one of the sellers did not really want to sell? How incredible is that? Wishing everyone a very Happy Thanksgiving, I wanted to thank all of you who follow my posts, interact with me and most importantly, thank you for your friendship.Most of the menu has been prepped by me and tomorrow will be easy. As you can see even the table is set.Things to do tomorrow: Bake the brined Turkey and then finish off the side dishes that are already oven ready.The only thing left to do is make the mashed potatoes. Anytime one prepares for a big meal, you need to plan ahead, and prioritize. Just like in Real Estate, you need to plan ahead and prioritize what needs to be done early and what can be done later.Well with that said no I did not buy the can that looks like it came from a dog food container.Her it is truly an easy recipe:    1. 12 oz or so of freshly washed cranberries and the ones that needed to be tossed have been.    2. 3/4 cup of fresh squeezed orange juice & 1/4 of water    3. 1/2 cup of sugar of your choice    4. Here we are a few days before Thanksgiving, are you ready? Well, I have cleaned the stove and the oven. Oh, about three or four hours later it looks like a new stove.Added the extension to the table to hold all the food.Got all the materials to make a traditional Thanksgiving dinner. Tomorrow I am picking up Turkey. So, with that said, brine the turkey tomorrow, and getting ready. Speechless Sundays: Grateful for friends who read my posts... as most of you who read my posts noticed that I did some Thanksgiving decorations outside our door. Yes, Diane helped as well. The bottom line was if you look at the above photo you will notice that the table was empty. Pumpkin Soup sort of like Joel Robuchon's but easier to make.The ingredients:   1. half a sweet onion sauteed in olive oil                                  2. two garlic cloves sauteed with the onions                                   3.
