The following numbers represent the Real Estate Market Review of homes sold for the first eight months of 2011 versus the same period in 2010 for Walnut Creek, CA. Keep in mind that real estate markets are local in nature and there will be micro markets in every town. Walnut Creek is holding steady in for the year over year comparison with single family homes showing a down-tick in unit sales and median price. Attached home sales have shown a bounce while the lower end sales are dragging down the overall price data.
