As Californians, we're all too familiar with the term "rolling blackouts". These occur when our power grids become overworked. Earlier this year, PG&E announced that they believed their equipment caused the 2018 Camp Fire. A combination of dry vegetation, lack of precipitation, and the Santa Ana winds spurred the Woolsey Fire on. To deter possible fire outbreaks, PG&E plans to implement rolling blackouts. Other utilities may follow suit. If you don't want to be caught without power, consider solar power. Attend a Ventura solar workshop to find out more about it.What: Ventura Solar WorkshopWhere: Ventura City Hall, Community Meeting Room (501 Police St)When: Thursday, July 11th, 5:30 pmAdmission: FREEContact: Community Environmental Council (805) 963-0583 x101Ventura Solar WorkshopJust l...
