These are always posted on my BradRachielles.com web page for those really wanting All of the LOCAL facts and figures. Of great concern lately has been the amount of home inventory there is to sell. With more buyers than sellers, it is really getting hard to find matches for shoppers. July's inventory for these ten communities was at 1.5 months of inventory. PLEASE The Upland Host Lions Club is happy that we have been able to make a difference in our community.  Fund raising efforts like the very popular "Fish Bake and Corn Feed" held earlier this month at the Memorial Park have given us the opportunity to provide eye examinations and glasses to Upland students referred to us by the school nurses based upon need. This last year, over 75 Upland students received this gift of better sight and hopefully, better grades. Lions International, our parent organization, helps those beyond our local communities by providing a glasses recycling program, supported by our local club too. Local R. E. Market Compared to a Maserati - Market Stats - Upland, CA. By: Brad Rachielles Having been energized by reading a post about test driving a Maserati and other exotic high performance cars, I found my mind bouncing between real estate, then Lamborghinis, then real estate, then Astin Martins..... The Upland Host Lions Club says "Thank You" The 58th Annual Upland Host Lions Club Fish, Steak and Corn Feed was another great success. We could not have done it without the Wonderful Support of the Local Communities. The food was great, but the real reason for this event is to raise funds so that we can provide needed eye exams and glasses to those in our schools who may not otherwise get this care, and to support other local charities who have seen their funds dwindle as the economy does the same. We also thank the fifty or so local sponsors for their generosity and involvement in helping the community. It was truly a joint effort.

Annual Lion Club Fish Bake and Corn Boil in Upland, CA August 2nd. By Brad Rachielles Come one, come all to the 58th Annual Fish Bake and Corn Boil hosted by the Upland, CA Lions club. The event is a benefit to raise funds for Upland school children needing eye exams and glasses. Students recommended to the club by the school nurses get both exams and glasses if needed. The club also is the chartering organization for scout troup 614 and has also supported other Upland charities in the past years. Market Report for Upland, CA - June, 2012. NEEDED... HOMES TO SELL! As the song said... "JUNE IS BUSTIN' OUT ALL OVER".... Ehhhh.... but not really in our Inland Empire real estate market. Even though the NEEDED home inventory increased this last month in the Inland Empire (1/10th of a percent), the news is misleading. When sales drop, and active listings drop, but slightly less, the result is an increase in months of inventory. The bottom line is that there are actually 6.6% fewer homes on the market for buyers to choose from than the month prior. REO sales dropped 5.9 (no surprise there). What DID surprise me was that Short Sale Closings increased 11% and Standard Sales dropped by 4.1%.... all in our 10 city market. Had a great trip to Spaggi's today in Upland. Enjoyed their Chicken Panini...Very nice portion size and Antipasto Salad. My friend and I really enjoyed the atmosphere as well as the excellent service. You can even dine outside on their patio ~ al fresco. Around the dining room, there are oil paintings from favorite Italian Spots to visit. It's a great place for a business luncheon, to catch up with a friend, or a great place to stop on your way to a Special Evening Event.  (Opera anyone?)
