South Pasadena Rose Parade Float “Never Give Up” Passes The Finish Line The 128th annual Tournament of Roses Parade is now in the history books. South Pasadena with the oldest self-built float in the parade showed people that even though it didn’t win an official award the community spirit is very much alive in this city.       This year’s entry “Never Give Up” had about 85% or more of the surface area covered with fresh flowers(according to the organization’s Facebook page). South Pasadena Rose Parade Float “Never Give Up” Is Close To The Finish Line There’s been some rain in South Pasadena.  Earlier today, I went to once again check out progress for the city of South Pasadena’s float entry in the 128th annual Tournament of Roses Parade.   South Pasadena has the oldest self-built float in the parade(and one of only six self-built floats in the parade out of 40 entries this year).   This is an all-volunteer effort by South Pas which is known for its small town appeal despite being approximately six miles from Downtown Los Angeles.
