Here you will find weekly market statistics which are a compilation ofReal Estate activity in Sonora, California and the surrounding area.Hopefully this will be of help to those of you who are trying to gainsome sense of where our market is going.The cost of Homes in Sonora CA remains the same yet once again this week.The average price for a 3 bedroom, 2 Bath, 2 car garage is  still $282,087.Currently Sonora CA Real Estate*has an average market time of 153 days.If we take a look at the total picture and include Real Estate in SonoraCA of all shapes and sizes, inventory rose this week to 72 withmedian asking price of $322,000 and an average time of 186 days on themarket.When compared to the rest of the Northern Tuolumne County there are393 homes for sale with a median asking price of $32...

On January 5th the Federal Reserve Bank began purchasing Mortgage Backed Securities. The total cost will be $500 Billion. If the Treasury yield reaction is any indication of what is to come, we should be into some real good rates by the time they are finished purchasing them in mid "09". My advice is don't wait. I have seen way too much fluctuation in the rates since last year. Also, this Friday the G.D.P. is going to fall off a cliff for the December #'s if the private sector #'s are any indication. We are in for a bumpy ride. I can't see the market sustaining its small gains in the last week and a half. This always has a direct effect on where the investor’s cash will end up.
