Selling a fixer upper in San Marcos - San Marcos fixer upper I recently met with a man who's thinking of selling a fixer upper in San Marcos. He's lived in this home for 40 years and obviously hasn't spent a lot of time or money keeping up with the home because there were quite a few deferred maintanance issues that were easy to spot. The builders are busy right now. San Elijo hills has new homes for sale.  The estates at San Elijo are all sold out. Altaire is wrapping up. Sanctuary has its model homes in place with views all over North County San Diego even into downtown. They have single story homes for sale and their homes start at $800,000. They've broken ground all the way up San Elijo road over by the fire station and new elementary school being built.
