Homes for sale in Little Italy offer investors a great opportunity to purchase real estate in the heart of San Diego.    Little Italy is so named because it was a portion of San Diego originally settled by immigrants from Italy. Today Little Italy is known for its collection of authentic Italian restaurants perfect for mouthwatering pizza slices or a traditional pasta dinner. Little Italy is a highly sought after neighborhood due to its central location and close proximity to nightlife, dining, shopping, and the downtown Lamp Light District. Situated in southern California, San Diego has long been a prime destination for vacationers seeking the year round sunshine and pleasant temperatures. Indeed, many local residents report that the daily temperature rarely deviates from the average o...

The disturbing rate increases appear to be continuing as the market has lost an early 31 basis points heading into the weekend. Most Analysts continue to question the validity of this trend, as we all hope for a strong reversal next week. When you have a new prospect do you look them up online?  Do you "Google them"?  Do you look for them elsewhere online? Don't feel guilty if you do.  It is no different than looking up a restaurant in Little Italy before you sit down at a table.  Being familiar with the menu before you commit is a nice feeling. Your clients and potential clients are doing this sort of research on you too.  Be very aware of your online presence.  It is one layer of your interview process with your sphere. My main sources are: 1.  Google 2.  FaceBook 3.  Linked In   An interesting tip about FaceBook is to paste the client's email address into the open bar on the top of FaceBook.  Search there for the person.  If they are on FaceBook you will be able to learn where they live, if they have plans to move, if...

Feel free to become my pal on Facebook.  If you do, you will be subjected to my reflections on life's positive and not so positive challenges.  They are referred to as "Today's Challenge".  These challenges hit a common chord with people and I'm delighted to say that people call me, stop me on the street and email me their challenges.  Today's Challenge:  Accepting "progress" is a relative term. The Wyland mural in Little Italy is vanishing. I am accustomed to walking or driving past this mural.  It is a pleasant reminder that we lucky folks in San Diego are hugging the Pacific.  It is also a soft sell to remind passersby to be green and in particular to be kind to our oceans. The mural is a nice counter balance to Little Italy's casual restaurants and linger-able cafes.  It bypasses Ro...
