Throwback Thursday- My Alaska Vacation in 2007 I have been to Alaska three times but never get tired of the scenery there. Philadelphia's Little League Superstar is Branding Herself Early  Mo'ne Davidson, a 13 year old superstar from Philadelphia, PA is making a name for herself since she threw her first pitch at the Little League Playoffs in South Williamsport, PA. Davidson has become a superstar as she has an amazing skill of pitching  accurately and fast with total strike outs. She is the pitcher on the 'Taney Dragons' who are up against a team in Las Vegas. It should be an exciting game. Davidson who has to be somewhat isolated as fans are hounding her for an autograph but this type of free advertising is what most of us dream of.    Our ActiveRain Meet Up Was Fun & Full of Good Wings       Our meet up was great and we had a six that showed; Richie Naggar, Kristin Hamilton, Pete Xavier, Christina and Greg Hood, and Les Oswald. We sat around for 3 hours discussing real estate, use of drones and their impact on society in the future, art and Greg showed us some of his great creations on his iPad. Plus Christina had a jewelry party Thursday and I couldn't make it. She brought her book and I placed an order. You know how us girls love our jewelry. Stopped By Escrow and Visited the Duck Pond  Yesterday I had to pick up a closing package at escrow, Lawyers Escrow in San Bernardino, and stopped by the 'Duck Pond' next door. It is a man made pond and is full of birds. Sometimes I see the Canadian Geese, a variety of Ducks, an Egreg and on rare occasions I see a Blue Heron.  Giant Salamander discovered on Banks of Kamogawa River by Local Police     According to Japanese networks and local US TV stations, yesterday a giant salamander climbed out of the Kamogawa River in Kyoto, Japan. Locals alerted the police of the "kappa" and the police stood by until the giant salamander returned to the water. According to the Smithsonian National Zoological Park, these giant salamanders are approximately 55 pounds and five feet long. Their brown/black skin allow them to blend in within their environment. 2 Friendly Dogs While Showing Property Yesterday Yes, I was showing property and when we went into the backyard, here were two adorable Dobbies and surprising enough they were nt barking. My dogs are not well behaved and would have been barking the whole time we were in the yard but not these guys.    I love showing property and when I meet friendly guys like this, it makes it more special. I did not get too close because they were bigger than me so I took the photo from about 25 feet. There is always a lot of nice surprises when you are showing property.
