The Palos Verdes Peninsula is often enveloped in a coat of coastal fog during the morning hours in June. The fog often hangs around until noon or so then is banished by the sunshine. Some people are happy to see June replaced by sunnier Jul,y but I enjoy the coastal clouds even when they are close enough to the ground to be considered fog. Photos taken on a gray day, especially of the ocean, reflect the weather condition of the day, often in an unexpected way. I snapped this photo while walking along the ocean's edge in Rancho Palos Verdes. I love the subdued neutral colors. Hiking in Palos Verdes - Trump National / Ocean Trails in Rancho Palos Verdes   by Norma ToeringBroker Associate with REMAX Estate Properties(310) 493-8333    I went for a lovely hike at Trump National Golf Course in Rancho Palos Verdes this morning.  Afterwards, I went to the spa at Terranea and had my hair cut--nice morning.   I have no complaints about the Palos Verdes lifestyle! I take that back, I do have a complaint.  We simply do not have enough homes on the market.  I'm sending a Palos Verdes market update to past clients and even I was astounded to discover there are only 105 single family homes listed for sale in Palos Verdes.  That's the lowest number of homes for sale I ever recall in over 20 years of selling Palos Verdes real estate. Yesterday was a unbelievably gorgeous October day. Too beautiful to not take advantage of. My husband and I decided to get up early with the sun pouring in our windows and take our puppy on a nice long hike. We headed out along the trails at Trump National Golf Course in Rancho Palos Verdes. By the end of our hike the sun was beating down on us. Days like this I am reminded how lucky I am to live in such a peaceful area with beautiful surroundings. Living in Palos Verdes is like being on vacation year round. Palos Verdes is surrounded by beautiful landscapes, nature, comfortable climate year round and is quiet and serene away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
