What a great experience I just had at attending my first auction. I had no idea that many people would show up to an auction. It was very loud, there were problems with the microphone and sound a few times, but overall I saw some people make some great deals and some that just didn't make since. I would highly advice any Realtors, Loan Agents that want to grab some extra business by attending the auction. by the way my clients and I sat in the front row by the very loud speakes and I beleive I'm deaf for now... Free Home Search 02/23/2008

Lots 1 and 4 of Pleasanton's Foothill Road contained acreage that once contained 170 acres. I confirmed it with the City of Pleasanton historical museum.This land was the home of San Leandro's mayor Earl Derry and his wife Stella Derry from 1946 until both of their deaths in the late 1970s.You see Mr and Mrs Derry had a sense of humor about things.  They ran their very own Dairy farm on that site.  Derry's Dairy.The Derry's moved out there when they sold their Superior Avenue home in San Leandro to my Grandparents William and Agnes Greenslade in 1946.I reading old newspaper archives about the Derrys, I also found out that the Derry's still owned some land back in Michigan.  Their property was surrounded on three sides by another property.  Oil was discovered on that property surrounding... 01/24/2008
