Santa's Riverboat Arrival in Petaluma CA - Saturday Nov 24th 2012       Thanksgiving is over, it's time to tell Santa what you want for Christmas! Santa and Mrs. Claus give the Holiday Season its traditional start on Saturday, Nov 24th when their tugboat chugs into the Historic Downtown Petaluma turn basin around noon. Santa and Mrs. Claus have come to the area by tugboat ever since their reindeer were grounded one year by thick fog, and were forced to navigate the Petaluma River into town. Performers will be on hand starting at 11:00AM to entertain the crowd as they await the arrival of Santa and Mrs. Claus. The weather couldn't be better for this event, so be sure to bring your camera for a photo with Santa. Oh yeah, bring your wish list too.
