Pasadena Chalk Festival 2017  On Father’s Day weekend, Saturday, June 17 and Sunday, June 18, 2017 the 25th annual Pasadena Chalk Art Festival was held at Paseo Colorado.    It was a particularly hot weekend in Pasadena although not as hot as last year according to some(but you didn’t hear that from me).  As promised I am including some photos shared by the creative I Maddonari(chalk artists) in attendance.   While still impressive, I don’t know but it may have been a combination of heat, uncomfortable shoes and/or a cranky mood(yeah, I admit it) but I wasn’t exactly feelin’ the chalk spirit this year.   More than in past years, the crowds made taking photos more of a challenge for me.
