I spent the afternoon by the pool, at my Orinda open house.Something about today, something about the weather. I was reminded of summers growing up, the heat, the lush greenery and that pool I was so tempted by. If you love thai food you will love Siam Orchid.Someone told me the Mexican restaurant next door was good.  Has anyone eaten there?  There is also another Thai place down the street that is pretty good, but not as nice.There is always one of my family's favorite places - Casa Orinda....best fried chicken ever.I also really like the Greek place next to the Theater - great Gyros.
