The other day when I was walking around the Oceanside Harbor, I was able to capture the start of the day for the team of Mason that is handling the dredging of the Harbor - this event is done on a annual  basis. The Harbor is a really special place to walk, There is so much to enjoy. Starting at the Jolly Roger to the bait shop which in the loop it is approximately a three mile walk. The scenery is fabulous. What a joy, This project consists of annual maintenance dredging of the federal navigation channels of Oceanside Harbor and placement of the material either on the beach or in the nearshore. Amount of dredge material available annually varies from 125,000 cubic meter s to 250,000 cubic meters.  You can see what - some of the activity that is going on.
