A Big Thank You for Your Support With the Race for the Cure Yesterday, September 26, 2010 was the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure at Fashion Island in Newport Beach. What an amazing event, and what amazing people. This year was my second Race for the Cure 5K, and look forward to participating in many more. We had a spectacular team! And I look forward to having more members on the team and even raising more money to support the cause. Below is the starting point, and everyone was excited about starting the race. The Isthmus at Catalina Island Catalina Island is located approximately 26 miles from Newport Beach. It is a beautiful place to visit, and there is so much to see and things to do.  It is not unusual to see dolphins, seals, porpoises and occassionally whales. There are so many activities there including snorkelling, and Scuba diving – the water is typically very clear and it is a great diving location. This past weekend, we were at the Isthmus at Catalina Island. I had not been there before, and it really is beautiful. Some of our fun activities included tubing behind the tender. The girls getting ready for some tubing! The girls really had a great time tubing and only fell off once when they went over a boat wake. Catching Some Rays in Newport Beach I thought I would share a photo of my dog Patrick who is an Irish Setter. He was lounging on the deck on the footrest  (he knows where to lay down) soaking up the sun in Newport Beach. Patrick is absolutely a character and does very funny anctics. I am sure that Patrick would rather be swimming in the canal in Newport Shores, however on this day, he decided to catch some rays. 09/15/2010
