The Peninsula Youth Theatre is a children's theater very close to my heart. I spent many years as a parent there, and the experiences were amongst the best of my childrens' lives.  PYT performs at the Mountain View Center for the Performing Arts, 500 Castro St, Mountain View.  They have a wonderful array of options for children year round.   Peter Pan opens their new Centerstage 2013-2014 season. Performances will be November 9-17. Auditions will be August 26 & 27. Children ages 8-18 may audition with a prose monologue and 1 minute song accompanied by a CD or sheet music. They should be dressed to dance.  Peninsula Youth Theater offers a monologue binder to choose from if you need a monologue. It can be seen at the Mountain View Public Library's children's reference desk or you ...

Anyone trying to buy a home in Moutain View right now knows that it is tough out there. There are many more buyers than sellers and many Mountain View homes sell with multiple offers way over list price. Some homes go as much as 30% over asking, but some do not. How does a buyer make the decision about how much to offer to have the winning bid in a Mountain View home multiple offer situation and not overpay? The answer is not simple, and sometimes it is not a question of price, but terms, like contingencies, length of escrow, length of rent back, etc. But for right now, let's just discuss price. Here are some things to keep in mind when you make an offer on a Mountain View home in a multiple offer situation. 1. In my opinion the most important thing is, how much is this condo worth to ...

Mountain View residential land listings remain in short supply, but if you’re looking for a home site to build on, we can help.  Mountain View is the geographic center of Silicon Valley’s vibrant business and social scenes.  Listings of homes and land for sale are not keeping up with demand and real estate values are returning to the higher levels of years ago.  The shortage of land for sale is driving many home buyers to purchase older homes and replace the structure, so it’s advisable to move quickly when a quality parcel comes on the market. Click here >>> Mountain View residential land listings <<< to see the list of properties now available.  Click on a property’s Address for photos and detailed information.  You can also sign up to receive email alerts automatically when new prope...
