The web-site is a direct result of the Obama Administration as it addresses basic information for troubled homeowners. The site is WWW.MakingHomesAffordable.gov. There are 2 sections to the web-site. One section addresses homeowners that have mortgages, make their payments on time but have no equity. I've been getting a considerable amount of inquiries from my buyers here in the Menifee and Temecula areas lately on the $8000 tax credit, so I thought I'd add a bit to my previous post to help explain the program in further detail. An assortment of business and civic leaders gathered today for the inaugural State of the City address for California's newest city, Menifee (incorporated October 1, 2008). It was a low-key event compared to many I've attended but the atmosphere was positive and upbeat and, dare I say, small-town America friendly. It was held at the Sun City (now part of the City of Menifee) Masonic Lodge. Five Year Housing Chart for Menifee, California I've recently provided a copy of this report to our local officials for the City of Menifee. There has been alot of excitement in the City of Menifee, California lately!  The long awaited Country Market has finally opened. The new shopping center is located off the Newport Road Exit and the 215 freeway. Some of the stores that have opened are a Super Target, Best Buy, Kohls, Lowes and Staples. We also now have a Red Robin resturaunt. More stores to come include Old Navy, Tilly's, and several speciality shops which should be announced over the next several months. I recently signed on with a new client in the City of Menifee. The home is very new. Just built in 2006. My client is a traditional seller. Not a  short sale and not a bank owned transaction. This home is absolutely fantastic. But my initial thought was even though this home is outstanding and impeccably decorated, how in the world am I going to get buyer's into my Open Houses?  Buyer's want deals right now. I wanted to share this story with other fellow collegues out there about a nice little home I have had listed for nearly a year now. The home is absolutely quaint. It is located in Palmilla on the Green in the City of Menifee. It is perfect for a couple entering their retirement years. As the listing agent, my clients are absolutely dear. I work Palmilla on the Green regularly. I represent both buyer's and sellers in this wonderful Menifee Community. This 55 plus community is a real gem.
