2251 N. Hobart Street, Los Feliz 90027 Listed at $975,000 This home is what's commonly referred to as a diamond in the rough, which holds true especially considering the location and the Mid-Century style.  It's 2 bedrooms and 2 baths in approximately 2500 square feet on a huge 15,000 square foot lot.  Built in the 1960's, it's begging for a renovation - which would transform it into an amazing showplace.  Also, because it's woodsy location - it affords total privacy and easy access to the many hiking and biking trails in Griffith Park. The home itself has a fantastic floor-plan, so that means minimal reconfiguring of walls needed during a renovation (which also reduces the amount of money you have to pay to your contractor).  The house has a top-notch 'flow', which is helped by a cover...

Here is another sunset picture taken from one of the many vistas available to the public in Griffith Park.  I just want to drive home the point that LA has some of the best sunsets anywhere in the world.   Every sunset is special.  I want to catalogue them the best I can, much like a devoted parent would take picture after picture of their children.  I'll try not to bore you with pictures of my "kids" but you should know that LA is a place where you can see sights like this on a daily basis.  I like living in a place where it is easy to be reminded that there are bigger things than myself.

Ah sunsets.  So relaxing, so mesmerizing.  We are looking out towards the pacific ocean and the "West Side" of LA.  I'm sure that is obvious to anyone who realizes that the sun does in fact set in the west.  Well, I just like to be thorough.  Anyway, I was once again right smack dab in the middle of Griffith Park witnessing this awesome event.

We are looking at the high country of the Angeles National Forest.  This photo was taken from the roof of the Griffith Observatory which, as you can probably tell from my previous posts, is a great place to gaze out upon some pretty amazing views.  You can also see a couple of different Griffith Park trails winding up the mountains in the foreground.  There are also lots of trails in the mountains in the background, but you can't really see them from here.  I would't recommend squinting that hard.

This is a post storm picture.  This particular day was filled with thunder, lightning and heavy rain but ended with sights like this.  While this was going on in LA the east coast was bogged down with blizzard conditions.  It's nice to have a robust storm here every once in a while, it makes us feel tough.  I will admit that most of the time the weather here is "wimpy" compared to many other places.
