Speechless Sunday: Double Done's with a few extras... I have always had extra food to prepare for a later meal. Needless to say, I made baked potatoes and kept them in the fridge for making a different meal.Well today I thought it would be fun to use my left-over baked potatoes as "Double Dones" and add the leftover vegies from the other day to it. My latest version of a corn chowder with clams... I have been a huge fan of fresh corn and other ingredients to make the Chowder. This time I decided instead of the canned minced clams why not go with the Wild For clam meat version.All I can say is once you switch to this you will never go back to the canned minced clams.You can actually taste the clams, and it was a hit. Tonight's easy dinner, since I had a really challenging day. Some day I might post about it. Just for fun: I do not mind sharing our oranges with the Squirrels what I mind is if they are wasting the oranges.Well, see for yourself.I make fresh squeezed orange juice every other day and Diane I love drinking it. Diane wanted to get some special personalized cards for her friends...so with that said off we went to Pages the bookstore that has wonderful cards in their store. Holly did not want to be left behind. 8635 Hollywood Blvd.: SOLD!!! not your everyday sale. In 2013 I represented the seller, and another agent bought the buyer.2022 I submitted an offer from the neighbor whom I sold the land in 2022. We could not come to an agreement.2023 submitted an offer again and it was accepted. Go figure all cash deal should have been fast and easy sale. Well not really the seller's LLC was expired... he had tons of liens on all his properties... after six and a half months of being in Escrow, title cleaned up and the buyer being patient we closed today.I joke about the commission I will be getting next day or so, hopefully paid for all the wine I invested and drank in trying to keep this deal together.I congratulated the buyer this afternoon, that he finally got the neighboring lot, He said Patience... 03/28/2024

A local new Pizza place: Diane went out to lunch with a friend, and it was a new pizza place. We have a favorite one, in Malibu that I have written about before. A Boston, MA transplant who opened a great pizza place.Now keep in mind Diane & I are very finicky when it comes to pizza places. They have to have thin crust pizza with good sauce and flavors.Well, it is almost as good as the one in Malibu, so when we have a craving, I do not need to go all the way there, we now have a local one for me to stop in...She ate a few slices and bought the rest home which we reluctantly shared. Speechless Sunday:  we have had some strange weather here in Los Angeles lately. Out of nowhere, we had another rainstorm around 5pm today. Then when the clouds cleared look what we saw. What a beautiful rainbow. If you look closely at both pictures you will notice an  airplane coming to land at LAX, that is Los Angeles International Airport. When I was watching I saw the plane was in the middle of the Rainbow. By the time I got my camera out and took the two pictures well in  one photo, the plane was still in the rainbow, the other one just left it.This of course reminded me of Real Estate.
