I was driving home from a showing of one of my listings and decided to take Fairfax Blvd to head home. Lots of traffic allowed me to take a few photos. Needless to say, since it is almost Academy Awards Ceremony coming up, thought it would be a good time to take and share these photos.Ironically, we have lived here going on 28 years and still have not made a stop to visit this Museum. Jeff Dowler, CRS thought you would appreciate this post since the other day you posted about Museum Month in your part of the world. Wishing you a safe and healthy life and I look forward to your comments. If you are looking for a knowledgeable, focused and goal-oriented Realtor in the Beverly Hills area who will help you achieve your Real Estate goals, please reach out to me directly! Yesterday I went to Canter's, a well know Jewish Deli in Los Angeles. Just to be clear, when I am near it, and conducting Real Estate I make it my time to stop and get some delicatessen or desert and have been doing it for the past 26+ years. A little history, The Canter family originally opened a deli in Jersey City, N.J in 1924 and came to California after World War Two around 1948. Since the Fairfax District of West Hollywood has been predominantly consisting of a larger Jewish population, they decided to move and open a Deli there. Then after their success they expanded and moved to a better location and added a restaurant. If you ever wanted a perfect Matzo Ball Soup, take my word Canter's is the place. The sad part is what is going on in Israel today, it had a negative effect here...

Snow Capped Mountains in the distance: a rare sight in Los Angeles... The last time I remember seeing Snow Capped Mountains was about 22 years ago...Diane and I relocated from Boston MA to Los Angeles CA and when we arrived it was El Nino. Rains we have never seen before. The volume was so bad that I used to drive Diane to work to her office in Downtown Los Angeles. This was before it was called DTLA. This was during the time I was forced to re-take my Real Estate Courses and license, because California did not have reciprocity with Massachusetts.I remember naively Diane was of the belief system that California does not have four seasons. I told her do not get rid of your winter coats etc. Gratefully she listened and the first three months she used them and thanked me every time.So he...

Images of spring in Los Angeles via blooming Trees. Most people do not realize that Los Angeles is not just high rise buildings. The colors of these blooming trees are some of the most beautiful, almost breathe taking. If you come to Los Angeles for the first time in May, you will be pleasantly surprised at the various trees in full bloom. The colors are amazing and magnificent, they are absolutely spectacular. Words are hard to describe them. So enjoy and let me know if you can name the Trees. If you are a consumer who is considering buying or selling a home, investment real estate, vacation homes, or beach properties in Southern California, Los Angeles, Century City, Westwood, West Hollywood, Beverly Hills, Culver City, Marina Del Rey, Venice or Malibu. Canter's Deli a Los Angeles Institution. If you have been there then you know what I mean. If you have never been than you must schedule a time. Lucky for you they are open 24hrs and 7 days a week, so you do not have an excuse about the time constraints. If you decide to eat at the Restaurant section, make sure you bring your appetite. I am not exaggerating the sandwiches are half a foot or higher. If you have been craving for a great corned beef or pastrami sandwich, Canter's is the place. My favorite is the matzo ball soup, bigger than a Major League Approved Baseball, soft and moist as a good matzo ball should be. Now if a sit down meal is not in your schedule, than check out the take-out counter, there are always five or six people in front of you. They have everything the restauran...
