De-clutter/Clean/Remove are the three most common recommendations. It is surprising how much stuff we can accumulate over time. Personal pictures and religious items should be out of site. You don't have to pack these items away you can maybe put your grandchildren's picture inside your medicine cabinet or car. This is also for privacy. It sounds obvious, but experts say this is an over-site that is soooo easy to fix.  It should be first (1st) on your list.  You would be shocked at what I have seen, actually many of you have seen the same, but it is still just as shocking.  Sparkle makes a difference.  Even though most people don't see behind the couch if you don't clean there someone will notice.  Then they will be looking.  Vacuum behind couches and under beds, scrub stains in carpets and sinks.  Make your house glow.  Ceiling fans and doorknobs.  Open windows.  Have a friend perform the "white glove & sniff" tests.  You are used to your odors but others find them obtrusive.  When it sparkles it sells.  And that goes for anything you want to sell.  Think about product marketing and go for it.Hope this helps.  These a...
