The official police escort led the way....      The AMGEN Bike Tour will be passing through Highland Park Sunday May 17.  There will be street closures along parts of Marmion Way, Monte Vista Street, Avenue 61, Piedmont, North Figueroa and Colorado Blvd. Reading the timetable, the racers will be coming from Downtown L A and are expected to turn North onto Pasadena Avenue at about 10:19 AM. From there they will curve onto Marmion Way,  at the base of the Southwest Museum, then onto Monte Vista Street. Then at approximately 10:28am , a right turn on Avenue 61 near Saint Ignatius Church, followed by a quick left on Piedmont passing the Highland Park Recreation Cente... 05/17/2015
