Encinitas Cruise Nights 2023~ Final Night ~ Classic car buffs and non-aficionados all love the Encinitas Cruise Nights that take place the 3rd Thursday each month from May through September. And that means the FINAL CRUISE NIGHT is tomorrow, the 21st, from 5:30 to 7:30 pm. Tomorrow night is also the kick-off for the annual Wavecrest Woodie Meet in Encinitas. So you can expect lots of classic woodies. Local car clubs park their vehicles along Main Street and some side streets for all to admire! 2023 Wavecrest Woodie MeetSeptember 21 - 24 The world’s longest running woodie festival takes place September 21st through the 24th in Encinitas. This is the 44th annual event! The Wavecrest Woodie Meet kicks off Thursday evening with the last of the Encinitas Classic Car Nights for 2023 from 4:30 – 8:00. This event is in downtown Encinitas along the Coast Road (N. Coast Highway 101). Friday night is the “Meet and Greet” at 4:30 to 6:30 pm at the host hotel, the Encinitan Hotel and Suites (formerly the Best Western). Classic Cars, Live Music & Summer Evenings ~  Encinitas 2023  ~ 2023 is the 24th season of the popular Encinitas Cruise Nights. This popular series takes place on the 3rd Thursday of each summer month(May through September) from 5:30 to 7:30 pm. There are 3 classic car nights remaining. The next event is July 20, followed by August 17 and September 21. Classic car buffs and non-aficionados alike seem to enjoy the Classic Car Nights on main street in downtown Encinitas. Looking for the top " THINGS TO DO IN ENCINITAS"? Well, if you are not a local and are not " in tune with Living in Encinitas", then making a stop at Swamis Surfing Beach Park and The Self-Realization Fellowship Temple, is a total must. Swamis is by far the most renowned and popular surf spot in North County San DIego, possible, all of San Diego County, even.For starters, I'm a hard core Swamis local. I don't like promoting kooks learning to surf at this spot, or promoting long boarding, etc, but it's all good. 2022 Wavecrest Woodie Meet in EncinitasSeptember 16, 17 and 18 The world’s longest running woodie festival takes place September 16th through the 18th in Encinitas. This is the 43rd event! The Wavecrest Woodie Meet kicks off Thursday evening with the last Encinitas Classic Car Night for 2022. Friday night is the Welcome Party at 5 pm at the host hotel, the Best Western. The hotel is a short distance from Moonlight Beach. This is a “No Host Taco Truck,” with beer, wine, and other beverages available. Saturday is the big Woodie meet with around 200 Woodies on display in the parking lot above the beach from 8 am until 2 pm.
