A 3.9 Earthquake rocks Corona California today. 3.9  2007/09/25 15:38:24 33.739N 117.469W  4.8   15 km ( 9 mi) WNW of Lake Elsinore, CA. Our office at Keller Williams Ralty Rocked and Rolled for a few seconds. No big problems. For the looks of things there were several quakes today in the Inland Empire. It seems like we have been having a quake every couple of week. I lived in the Bay Area and we have never had this many quakes. Hope nothing big is coming.

Hey everyone I found this neat IQ Tester at:http://www.flashbynight.com/test/The questions are pretty broad about history in the last 100 years as well as grammar and other things as well. Give it a try then report back how you did. I know this may be off subject a little, indulge me the test was fun to see how much I knew. Getting your home sold is at the top of your list if your home has been sitting on the real estate market. In the past Riverside County has seen homes hit the market and then sell in a few short days. And chances are you got more then what the home was worth. Times have changed and to sell your home in today's market you need to be priced right and standout.I did a search today on http://www.imrmls.com/ and found that in the cities of Corona & Riverside California there are 327 new homes on the market in the past 10 days. Out of these 327 homes only 20 have a virtual tour and 59 listing don't even have photos. Tours and photos increase the number of buyers looking at your home. If your agent has not even put photos of your home on the local MLS system in 10 days then there is something ...

It is unfortunate when we spot graffiti within our city or any other city in Riverside County, but we can make a difference if we take the time to report to the graffiti to the Public Works Department. The Public Works Department has a Graffiti Removal program that is responsible for the removal of graffiti and illegal signs from all public and private property (when permission is granted). It is designed to include an education and publicity component for the accomplishment of program objectives. The City also contracts with the County of Riverside for removal of graffiti in county areas closely surrounding Corona. To report graffiti locations, please call the 24 hour Graffiti Hotline at (951) 278-3227.To report graffiti in progress: Dial 9-1-1. Please be ready with the location of the...

IE Tattoo Convention: Good Vibes in Riverside Home of the Parent Navel Orange Tree and the Mission Inn, Riverside was the host city for this year's Inland Empire Tattoo Convention. Held at the Riverside Convention Center, July 28-29, this was the "weekend of ink,” for attendees that kept cool inside while temps hit 100+ outside. The cozy quarters that housed the show, made for amicable conditions for artists, collectors and visitors alike. Approximately 100 tattoo artists turned up, keeping a steady stream of ink enthusiasts happy, as machines buzzed their way through the two day event. Steve Soto, from Goodfellas Tattoo in Orange, CA, worked throughout the day on Saturday and told Life According To that, "the show had a great vibe," as patrons stopped by his booth often to watch him c...

The "Artistic Element" of Roman     The Body Art Expo in Pomona last weekend was the place to be for cutting edge tattoo work. Amid the many talented artists, one that was definitely at the forefront is Roman, owner of Artistic Element Tattoo in Yucaipa.      Roman was an ink machine at the tattoo convention, held July 20-22. Working almost ten hours straight on Friday, he executed a brilliant monster tattoo of Pumpkinhead, from the horror film of the same name; that was so lifelike, you might have believed the slimy, viscous creature would jump off the skin to attack.      Saturday was a thrilling day for Roman, as he collaborated with his mentor, Mike Cole, for the first time. These two talented ink slingers mixed color realism and biomechanical designs to transform one lucky collecto...

The Maestro of Realism     Fixated on her prey, Catwoman gleams in a shiny latex mask and ruby lips, ready to pounce. Next to her, a contemplative Sherlock Holmes wears a crisp tweed hat and puffs on an antique pipe, while a gorilla with piercing brown eyes glares from behind a dark-green jungle leaf. You might think you are standing in the middle of an eccentric movie set, but you have just snuck a peek from a portfolio page of one of the Inland Empire's most exciting tattoo artists. Welcome to the brilliantly colorful world of Mike DeVries.      Having recently joined the talented group of artists at Art Junkies Tattoo in Hesperia, this master of ink is part of a cutting-edge realistic tattoo explosion. At age 28, DeVries embarked on his tattooing career just four years ago. Interest...

As you drive through Corona and Riverside, take a moment to consider the purple ribbons attached to light poles, cars, and freeway overpasses. They are here to remind us of the tragic death of 6-month-old Kaitlyn after she was left alone in a van for more than two hours at Lake Mathews in August 2000. Temperatures soared to more than 100 degrees outdoors and 135 degrees inside the vehicle.Laura Petersen and Tammy Russell created the Corona-based nonprofit organization 4 R Kids Sake to spotlight the dangers of leaving children alone in and around cars. They lobbied for the passage in 2001 of Kaitlyn's Law, which makes it a citable offense in California to leave a child 6 or younger in an automobile without the supervision of someone at least 12 years old. If you would like to participate...
