Funny how life changes make you rethink many ideas you had during your life.  I once told my father, who was a golf lover; I would never follow a little white ball around a course.  Now that I'm older and I think wiser I have taken up this sport and understand why getting away to the golf course was so much fun for Dad.   Here in Corona we are blessed with many fine courses.  I recently visited one which is located in South Corona-Eagle Glen.  Eagle Glen is peaceful and challenging course that has many scenic vistas. The clubhouse is beautiful with a great menu selection.  Since the course is located at the foot of the Cleveland National Forest it is a perfect retreat from your busy schedule.  The course was designed by world renowned architect Gary Roger Baird and provides for a lot of...

Sierra Del Oro, Corona, California Update As you may have noticed in the first 3 months of 2009, buyer activity in Southern California is beginning to increase noticeably.  Inventory of available homes in Sierra Del Oro is at an extremely low level, which lends to the increased chance of multiple offers on listed properties (especially those homes which are a good buy). Good deals are still within reach, but with the increased buyer activity, it is more important to keep up on new listings on a daily basis.  I send out daily notices of new listings in my clients' areas of choice upon request... this helps the active buyers find the best deals, and allows us to write an offer PRIOR to competition from other agents.   Cameron Novak Corona & Riverside Short Sale Agents The Homefinding Cent...

Don't you just love those awesome two day makeovers on HGTV?  Don't you just love the wonderful decorating ideas that cost next to nothing and make a huge difference?  We all do,  but there is so much more to the story.  The recipe has some vital ingredients....mainly a motivated Seller, a cooperative Agent and a concientious Stager. All these ingredients can only come together if everyone is on the same page and all are educated as to their roles.   Each must know their place in the mix and how to blend with the whole.  We Stagers are not miracle workers but we can make success more likely if we take primary responsibility for this education.  Sellers must realize they can't achieve something for nothing and Agents must help Stagers impart this to their Sellers.  Get rid of the junk, c...

Corona Short Sale Update Corona, California Short Sale Update Many homeowners considering or involved in the short sale process have questions about the time frame expected from Short Sale beginning to end.  I frequently get questioned why there is such a discrepancy in turn times for different lenders. The answer is not as complicated as you might think.  While there are different factors in short sale turn times, the main reason for the difference is the staff in place at the bank in question.  Typically smaller banks have representatives that interact more closely with the agents involved in the short sale, while having a direct line of communication with the decision makers at their respective companies.  The larger banks have.... 1) More short sales to deal with, and 2) More asset ...

Steve provides dryer vent cleaning, repair and installation services while educates his customers on fire safety and proper dryer vent system maintenance                                                            San Diego, CA -. Steve Gors, former Fed-Ex contractor, traded his delivery van for a logo-ed uniform to own and operate a Dryer Vent Wizard franchise in Riverside County.  At a recent interview, Steve discussed the rewards of this career change, as he said, "I'm pleased to be contributing to the community by increasing consumer awareness on the importance of dryer vent maintenance to prevent fires and to keep the clothes dryer running efficiently.  Dryer ducts that are clogged with lint restrict air flow, forcing the dryer to work harder and consume more energy."  Professional ...

Corona Hills Short Sales, Corona, California Corona Hills Short SalesAs the majority of Corona Hills residents of Corona, California can attest, the number of foreclosure sales in our community has had a devastating effect on home values. Some homes have lost as much as 50% of their value in the past 2+ years. As a result of this value decline many Corona Hills residents find it necessary to sell their homes, but find the value of their home isn't sufficient to pay off the mortgage owed to the lien holder (bank). The importance of working with a real estate broker with a track record of successfully assisting homeowners with short-pay (short sale) situations cannot be overstated. The following is an absolute must if your goal is to obtain a loan modification OR short-pay (or short sale...

Adultery IS an epidemic in this country. What can we do? Refuse to do business with people with low morals such as Jay Baird.

Jay Baird cheated with a married woman. Jay Baird is a Realtor in the Inland Empire/Corona. I worked with him on a few deals. Then a colleague forwarded a blog by the husband of the woman he cheated with. The blog has since gone private and I cant get into it anymore, but it was shocking. Jay Baird deserves every sad thing that will happen in his life. Too bad it will affect his family as well as that of the man who's wife he chose to have an affair with.

Loan Modification Sample Hardship Letter Loan Modification Hardship Letter As unfortunate as it is having to write about the subject of hardships, loan modifications, and short sales, I feel compelled to post an article to clarify the loan modification process and the importance of a well written, well thought out hardship letter.  As you may have guessed, you will also need a hardship letter should you attempt to get an authorization for a short sale. Lenders currently have an outrageous number of loan modification and short sale requests.  They are literally stacked on asset managers' desks.  With this in mind, it is in your interest, when deciding what to put in a hardship letter, to put forth your best argument as to why you are a good candidate for a loan modification.  For the pu...
