In the continued market recovery the amount of home inventory has declined for the last 18 months. This is great news, especially for homeowners concerned about their equity. With inventory low, buyers compete more and more for homes to buy. {Corona Short Sale Agent} Here's a graph that visualizes the market trend of late. This graph is of Corona Homes and the Days on the market they last. As you can see, since January 2012 the median days on the market a Corona home lasts has dropped from nearly 80 days down to 20 days on the market in June 2013. You'll also njotice that since June 2013 to now, the trend seems to be climbing back up again. Could this be an indication of a cooling market? Some think so. Take for example this article from The Home Buying Institute. So if you're consideri...

VAST MAJORITY OF REAL ESTATE SALES CLOSE ABOVE ASKING PRICE IN CORONA CA There was a 16.9% jump in the number of homes for sale in Corona, California, on a month to month basis, and a 5.4% increase, when compared to July of last year. Although available inventory has crept up in the past several months, it still pales in comparison to the number of real estate listings that were on the market throughout most of 2012. In addition, the supply of homes for sale remains very low, considering the size of Corona, and multiple offers are still common and widespread. This is the primary reason that home prices have continued to rise this summer, in spite of inventory and interest rate increases. Pending home sales decreased 6.4% month over month, and fell by a remarkable 48.6% year over year. T...

CORONA REAL ESTATE LISTINGS JUMP NEARLY 28 PERCENT IN JUNE 2013 The number of homes for sale in Corona, California jumped 27.8% between the end of May and June 2013. However, the year over year listing stats still reflect a drop of more than 24%, and the lack of Corona real estate inventory continues to drive home prices upward. Another factor driving the increase in prices is the major decline in distressed sales. Compared to June of last year, foreclosure listings fell 29.4% and short sale listings have plummeted over 84%. Pending home sales showed very little change month over month, but dropped by 46.2%, when comparing June 2013 to one year earlier. This drastic change was inevitable, given the incredibly low inventory level of available homes for sale in Corona. Closed real estate ...

Reading the book again brought out a newer and better understanding of what slight edge really means. Each page is filled with the secrets to a successful life and career.     The difference between the 5% of the population that made it from the 95% who are still on the wrong path has truly to do with their...

July 23rd is National Hot Dog Day in Eastvale CA-Time to Celebrate   There is no food more American than a Hot Dog. It is tasty, nutritious and easy to put together.A baseball game is just not the same without a bite of these juicy dogs.   There is an annual competition to see who can eat the most hot dogs in a 10 minute period. On July 4, 2013, Joey Chestnut defended his record for eating the most dogs during a 10 minute period. He was able to chow down 69 franks and buns to win the $10k prize. Sonya Thomas defended her title by eating 37 dogs during the same competition.   I personally prefer to enjoy my dogs one slow bite at a time. Enjoy your hot dogs on July 23rd...

July is Ice Cream Month in Eastvale CA   Do you know who invented the ice cream cone? Was it Charles Minches or do you believe the credit goes to Italo Marchiony, who has a patent for the "ice cream bowl"? No matter, I am just thankful that I can enjoy such a tasty treat without having to use a bowl and spoon. July is the month set aside as National Ice Cream month. It was first proclaimed as National ice cream month in 1984 by President Ronald Reagan. So to honor this great celebration, we should all taste a different flavor of ice cream every day of the month. Anyone up for the challenge in Eastvale CA?

Eastvale Firework Safety Tips           July 4th is right around the corner. This is the day that we set aside to celebrate the birth of our precious Nation. On Thursday, we will be celebrating 237 years of freedom with City parades, picnic at the parks, BBQ's, and fireworks at night.   As we enjoy the festivities, one important warning and alert is to let the professionals handle the fireworks. Too many injuries occur every year unnecessarily. There are even risks with consumer fireworks, such as sparklers and firecrackers. Did you know that the tip of sparklers can actually cause third degree burns? Why not sit back, relax, pull up a chair, grab an apple pie, sip on a cold drink and just enjoy the festivities.     Have a Safe and Joyous July 4th Celebration!   Eastvale Firework Safety...
