The rules are constantly changing so here is some updated information effective 12/14/2012. Squirrels and Birds so Enjoyable at Southern California Beaches Yesterday, we went to the beach and drove from Newport Beach, to Laguna Beach and then ended up at Doheny Beach in Dana Point.   While walking down the sidewalk near the breakwaters, I spotted a curious white squirrel. It was peeping its head out of the rocks so I threw an orange slice and some bread crust. While this white squirrel was sitting there eating it, the birds showed up and a second squirrel appeared. Sorry guys, but that is all I have.   It was such a beautiful and relaxing place to visit so I plan to go back soon. Bird Watching is Popular in Loma Linda Hundreds of birds roost in this tree so this cat is no dummy. My two dogs are hoping for some traffic at the bird feeder.   Snug as a Bug in a Rug!   We had a big storm this morning so my girls were not very happy. They were hanging out on the stairs but then they got really quiet and I couldn't find them.   Called them, looked outside, checked the garage, and just couldn't find them anywhere. Came home from work today and my Chihuahua, CoCo, was upstairs barking and growling. So I run upstairs and here she is barking at the birds in the backyard. I bought this plant a year ago. It was beautiful and even my dogs liked to go and sniff the flowers.   Recently I noticed it looked like it was dying!   I found it hiding in the geraniums. When watering it, a huge grasshopper jumped off. This Grasshopper decided to go swimming.   Good-bye to the bad little grasshopper! This is one insect I do not like and they do so much damage to our plants and flowers. It was a cold and rainy day but when I arrived at the baby shower, Sophia was laying in front of the fire. I reminded me of a water color when they paint the cat curled up in front of a blazing fire. She laid there for at least an hour and didn’t care that the house was full of people making noise. Everyone stopped to pet her and had to step over her since she never moved.
