GM's new En-V 2 wheel electric car is a concept vehicle making the rounds of automotive trade shows.  It appears very nimble and resembles the "Segway" scooter.  The vehicle kneels or tips forward to allow driver/passenger to enter and exit. The GM spokesman refers to the function as "landing and taking off." I wonder how many En-V's will fit in a compact parking space?                                      Hands Free GPS MapQuest 4 Mobile Is FREE Have you been using GPS with your Smartphone?  I started with Googlemaps, but the free app didn't have voice. I really enjoyed the business search function and being able to import that information directly to my contacts.  I've used it on WM6 platform and more recently on iphone 3G and 4. Apparently we have become an iphone centric company. AT&T just sent us a letter commending our loyalty (read-heavy use) of their products.   Since January 1, 2010 it's been illegal to "text" while driving, in California which lead me to seek a more hands-free solution to the use of the iphone's built-in GPS.  I recently rediscovered MapsQuest and the MQ 4 Mobile with it voice commands.  There are numerous search tab function...

CAL Green Building - Energy Star Bath Fans - Chico CA Homes For Sale   Energy Star rated bath fans will be required, in all new construction, starting January 1, 2011.   The fans are rated for the parameters of energy efficacy, sound level, airflow performance and lighting, if equipped.     An unexpected bonus in the new requirement is the sound rating. This will eliminate the noisy fans of the past. The sound rating is referred to as a "sones",  a subjective measurement of loudness. The most familiar 50 cfm fans were rated at 4.0 sones.  The new code will allow a maximum 2.0 sones for a similar sized fan.  Ultra low sone fans with 0.4 to 0.8 ratings are also available.   CHICO AIR SHOW September 24-26, 2010 - CHICO MUNICPAL AIRPORT-CIC The first airplane reportedly landed at the CHICO MUNICIPAL AIRPORT in March 1935. Airport activity has grown considerably since that day. The City of Chico along with the assistance of numerous community sponsors host the annual Chico Air Show.  This year is sure to be exciting with 3 days of activities packed with a long list of performers, food and service vendors.
