My husband and I do not often face the same dilemma. Such as we suddenly find ourselves with free time on the weekends and we haven't planned anything. Then we often can't figure out what to do. Even though there are plenty of things to do in Sacramento. Almost everything is planned beforehand in our lives. Impromptu happenings don't usually occur. This past weekend, we had planned to be in Berkeley to see They Might Be Giants, and then off to San Francisco perhaps to meet up with Lottie Kendall, but none of that happened because TMBG show canceled. You need more people than two to play Kick the Can, and I don't think cowboys and Indians is a PC game anymore. So, we came up with a new idea. Even though I do not live in Carmichael, I tend to list a lot of homes in Carmichael. Mostly pool homes, probably because there are so many homes in Carmichael with pools due to the large lot sizes, but this home does not have a pool, so you can relax. No pool! Some people do not want a pool at all. I'm not certain if this was the same Carmichael agent who had to call back three times during a phone conversation on Wednesday in order to take "very important" calls or whatever, but it could have been. I received a text right around dinner time yesterday that the agent was sending an offer to me, followed by another text asking if we were pending (which we were).I pointed out that he had promised he was sending an offer 24 hours ago, because I could see the time and date stamp of his previous text message. Today, he insisted, he said he was sending it today and, by golly, by his 24-hour clock, guess what? It was STILL today. If I had a dollar for every time an agent said "I'm sending an offer tomorrow," which never arrives, I'd be retired to an atoll in the middle of the South Pacifi... 10/23/2015
