Yum Yum Donuts on Beaumont Ave and 6th Street, in Beaumont, CaliforniaThe corner of Beaumont, Ave and 6th Street in Beaumont is a busy intersection for the city of Beaumont. In the early morning hours cars trucks and any other modes of transportation that carries people to work are bustling through this junction. That makes this corner a perfect place for a well-ran donut store.Yum Yum Donuts has been here in Beaumont for many years, and continues to service our community with the best donuts and coffee in town. They even offer ham and cheese croissants (my personal favorite). We actually frequented another donut store before we tried the Beaumont Yum Yum Donuts, but it was a hassle every time because the other shop did not accept credit cards or even debit cards, only cash.In this day and...

Yea, I've noticed too. The Westbound I-10 Oak Valley Off-Ramp and Beaumont Avenue On-Ramp have been closed.   They were closed on July 6th and July 12th, respectively. The Oak Valley off-ramps should re-open on July 19th, 2010 and the Beaumont Ave. on-ramp will re-open on July 22nd, 2010- according to the Caltrans website.Although you'll notice that their posted signs say August 1st, 2010. But it also says that it was originally closed on April 1st, 2009, which obviously is not accurate. It also says 6PM TO 9PM, when in fact the ramps are under full closures. The I-10 Freeway is also having work done as well to repave and reinforce the outside lanes due to damage from heavy interstate delivery truck usage. The freeway and the westbound Oak Valley off-ramp are also being widened, and prov...

Somebody Help Me- I've turned into a Hippie!!! Either that or someone a pirate despises, because today I became a land-lover. Not in the weird "What in the heck is he doing to that dirt?" kind, or even one that exploits land sales for commissions or capital gains. None of those in fact. I've become a land-lover in the sense of appreciating the land for what it provides- like a farmer, I guess! I should start from the beginning... My wife, slash partner, and I began a running routine every morning about a month ago. To be honest, at first it sucked! I was always tired, sore and even grouchy- all day every day. My body eventually adjusted and I discovered how good it made me feel afterward. But today came the real shocker!! I was running my usual route from my house in Beaumont, CA, down ...

A Brief Look at Beaumont, California -   A Great Place to Live!!!HistoryDuring the early 1850s, many surveying parties passed through the vicinity of present-day Beaumont in search of a pass that would connect the east to the Pacific Ocean. The San Gorgonio Pass was discovered in 1853 by a surveying expedition under Lieutenant R.S. Williamson, who was sent by the United States government. Its discovery enthralled many who now saw connecting to the ocean a feasible measure and led to plans for connecting a railway from the Missouri River to the Pacific. By the early 1860s the Union Pacific Railroad had laid tracks through the modern-day location of Beaumont. At the summit of the pass, a site was founded and named Edgar Station after a physician from one of the original expedition parties...

How To Short Sell My House - Do It Yourself Short SaleLet's start with a few questions:1. Do you know what a Deficiency Judgment is?2. Do you know what a Hard Money Loan and Purchase Money Loan is?3. Do you know what At-Arms-Length Representation is?4. Do you know what Recourse and Non-Recourse is?This is terminology most homeowners do not know. And that is EXACTLY WHY YOU SHOULD NOT ATTEMPT A SHORT SALE ON YOUR OWN. In fact, banks will not allow a homeowner to short sale their own home- They MUST use an agent not related to them. And there are too many pitfalls and potential mistakes that can negatively affect you financially for many years! And here's the worst part:MANY REAL ESTATE AGENTS AND REALTORSDO NOT KNOW HOW TO CONDUCT A SUCCESSFUL SHORT SALE EITHER!!!! If you want to successf...

Great News in Beaumont, California!!! -or- Oak Valley Parkway is Now Open!!! The wait is finally over! Its been a year, almost to the day... The Oak Valley Parkway bridge that connects traffic from the freeway and Oak View Drive to Beaumont Ave, Stater Bros and the rest of Beaumont is NOW OPEN! We live up Oak View Drive, and anytime we went to the supermarket, post office or anything else in Beaumont, CA, we had to take the detour from Oak View Drive to Brookside, and then up to Beaumont Ave.. It doesn't seem like a long detour at first, but then try to run your errands right when school is being let out at either the Beaumont High School or Brookside Elementary! Understandably everyone drives much slower, kids, parents, school employees and other pedestrians are crossing the roads and ...

"I Don't Like Beaumont, in California- Its too Windy!" or Beaumont's Bad Rap as the Windy CityAs an agent focused on the Beaumont, California area, and as a Beaumont resident- I hear this negative comment from time to time from clients, friends and family members semi-familiar with the area. Yes we can have some gusts now and again. Yes its more breezy here in Beaumont compared to say, Redlands. Yes we had a wind storm in 2007. And yes when I first moved here to Beaumont the first thing my next door neighbor said was "I hope you like the wind!"But consider this. Yes Beaumont is typically cooler than the lower inland valley areas, like Redlands and Mentone, and to a lesser extent Yucaipa and Calimesa. Yes Beaumont has almost no smog, even when San Bernardino and Riversideis choking on it...

Lack of Foreclosures in the Sundance Community in Beaumont, CA?Are you a home buyer combing the streets of Beaumont, California looking for foreclosures? Your not finding very many are you? That's because the big boy banks, the ones with the most foreclosed homes have wised up and implemented a self-imposed moratorium a few months ago, after the government imposed moratorium. Why you ask? To stop the decrease in home prices- to put a floor on the housing slump- to stop the bleeding and cotorise the wound. Face it, the reason why home prices were falling was because people either wouldn't, or couldn't spend what sellers were selling their homes for. Supply created by a lack of demand, and even more supply created by the endless supply of foreclosures. In our adventures of home selling in B...
