Oak Valley Greens in Beaumont, California - Market Report Aug. 7th 2014 I did a little research in our regional MLS of the Oak Valley Greens Community, located in Beaumont, California to determine what the state of real estate for the community is. My wife and I live in the community, and we are very fond of the area. We love how close we are to the Brookside Elementary for our grade school children, and the "Oak Valley Greenbelt" which is well maintained and unites a great local community. Oak Valley Greens is also close to the 10 Freeway for easy commuting access, and fairly close to most shopping needs, like Stater Bros., a post office, Walmart, Best Buy, Home Depot, Staples and various restaurants as well. I love Halloween! It is to me one of the most fun holidays, and most over-looked holidays! I do whatever I can for my two young boys to enjoy Halloween because I believe it instills a sense of fun and let's all of us have a chance at taking ourselves less seriously. So it was a complete surprise and thrill to have been Booed this year! What is being Booed? We were locking up the house for bedtime a few nights ago and discovered a plastic pumpkin filled with treats and small toys for the boys, and a sign that read "You've Been Booed!" Somebody Help Me- I've turned into a Hippie!!! Either that or someone a pirate despises, because today I became a land-lover. Not in the weird "What in the heck is he doing to that dirt?" kind, or even one that exploits land sales for commissions or capital gains. None of those in fact. What's That White Stuff? -or- Snow in Beaumont, CA? I Thought This Was Sunny Southern California!!!! I know people in some parts of the country don't consider waking up to snow in their back yard as unusual, but here in Southern California its a bit of an oddity. But that's exactly what happened to us today! Here in Beaumont, California, snow is something that MAYBE you see on the view of the San Bernardino Mountains every once in a while, or in a Christmas special on Lifetime! We have tempratures that range around 65 to 85 degrees Farenheite during the winter months for crying out loud!
