Fun news for you pet lovers out there!  Finally an event that puts our little town of Chilliwack on the Map!On St. Patrick's Day, a Chilliwack standard poodle called "Charlie" whelped a record brood:  16 puppies! Charlie, whose name comes from the TV show Charlie's Angels began the birthing process on St. Patricks Day....although reportedly none of the puppies came out green! For the owner, Charlie's more then a poodle, some would call her a 'cash cow'...as purebread puppies sell for $1200 each! Canadian Kennel Club Spokesman confirmed that 16 puppies is a Canadian record for poodles, and there's a good possibility Charlie has also set a world record for standard poodles, and they're awaiting confirmation from The Guinness Book! The owner is currently organzing a contest to select Iris...

The  Beauty of Chilliwack    Chilliwack, British Columbia "Chilliwack" is the name of the local Indian tribe and also of various geographical features. This Halkomelem word has the sense of "quieter water on the head" or "travel by way of backwater slough". The original spelling was "Chilliwhack". There are year round performances of live theater, music and dance, while sports tournaments draw curling, hockey, softball and soccer fans. There is even chuck wagon racing and equestrian events for country-style entertainment. But for many, the out-of-doors beckons, and where better than Chilliwack to experience some of the wonderful outdoor recreational activities that await. Camping, swimming and hiking are just ...

These crossing all have warning lights gates and safety signals now.   For those of you that like the sound of a train whistle you will have to go a little further to hear it now. (Staging for Top Dollar Stager 9)
My mother always told me that 'a spoonful of honey will catch more flies than a gallon of vinegar.'I sure needed her advice to convince the homeowner next door to STAGE her house before she listed it. With stuffed road kill owls hanging from the entrance ceiling, poorly painted maroon walls in the kitchen ,a dark brown tunnel for a hall and a general air of cat , it screamed out for help. After spending $4500 on painting, new floors and curb appeal the homeowner sold the home for $35, 000 over the first listing price. Now she is telling everyone she knows what STAGING can do. Who would have 'thunk' it? STAGING works!Fixing up a property before you sell is not really a new concept. Listing Realtors have suggested, this idea for years. But today , buyers with their busy lifestyles expect ...
