  As we've discussed in previous posts the North 32nd St Corridor was once a bustling part of town.  32nd Street served as the best North/South passage for travelers heading to North Central Phoenix from areas South and Vice Versa.  After the completion of SR51 (Piestewa Peak Parkway) the traffic in the area saw a major decline.  Although the reduced traffic was nice for residents of the 85028 and 85032 zip codes, the reduction decimated many local business.  If you drive up 32nd from the SR51 exit up to Beardsley Road you will notice a number of empty commercial spaces.  These spaces have proven to be inviting for graffiti vandals and had started filling up with less than desirable businesses for a family neighborhood.
