My husband and I love Ceviche...Ceviche is basically fish (in this case shrimp) lime juice, onion, cilantro, jalapeno, probably salt and pepper.  Anyway, my husband and I have been to Sonora Tacos y Mariscos, 2690 North Kiowa Avenue in Lake Havasu a number of times.  The food is GREAT!...the prices are very reasonable.  They have the best Ceviche in town, in my humble opinion.  Today, I was out looking at and taking pictures of a potential new listing.  Guess what??  I drove right by Sonora Tacos Y Mariscos and the OPEN sign was clearly flashing red.  It was only about 10am.  I've only been there for dinner and didn't realize they opened so early...Yea!  I got an early lunch...guess what it was???  That's right, it was a shrimp ceviche tostada with home made corn chips for $4.00... Sono...

As our economy gets tighter and medical expenses soar, families are faced with the possibility that their parents are moving in permanently. The latest numbers reveal that close to 50 million people in America live in a situation where extended family, such as a Mother In Law, is living together. And, those numbers are bound to rise over the coming decade. If you’re in the position of having to make room for a parent or other relative to move in with you, you may be in luck. One home builder in Lake Havasu City has designed a solution to the problem. Lennar Homes of Lake Havasu has introduced the Next Gen Casita option in many of its communities here in Maricopa County. So, don’t be surprised if you see many other home builders attempt to copy this idea. A few of the features of the Len...

Similar to Diogenes’ search for an honest man, homeowners want someone to do quality repairs or services at a fair price.  The task appears reasonably easy but if you’ve ever tried to locate someone, you know just how difficult it is. Finding a list of companies from a phone book doesn’t mean they’ll be reasonable and reliable, it just means they have a phone and are willing to pay for an ad.  Searching on the Internet may direct you to a website that appears to be a local company but really is a marketing company who will sell the lead to a repairman or company who will pay a referral fee. There are consumer organizations like Angie’s list who rate repairmen and contractors but they usually require an annual membership fee to be able to access the information.  There are also services ...

Lake Havasu people and animals will soon be sharing a three-way water fountain near the hiking, walking and biking trials of Lake Havasu City. If you want the best education for your student, you may want to look into Lake Havasu City Schools. We have Lake Havasu students who are becoming college graduates before they finish high school. The Lake Havasu City public school system will see 19 students this year who will graduate college before they graduate high school. The final stages of construction on Heart of Havasu Park has finally begun, which means it won’t be long before it’s complete. The landscaping company started moving dirt on Heart of Havasu Park on Monday. So, now the dreams of the 2011 leadership and development team can come to light. They had fundraisers to help execute the big project and make it a reality. Now, as it nears the finish, they will replace 21,000 square feet of sod in front of the Lake Havasu City Police Department and Xeriscaping it with the use of native rocks and plants to help conserve water. In the park makeover you will find three heart shaped landscape areas that will stand out beautifully with the removal of the Bermuda grass that is being replaced by beautiful natural rock and plants that are native to the reg...
