Last night, I went to a mystery murder dinner Mystery Dinner Theater at the N-Zone on 11/20/10 from 7 pm to 10 pm in Marion, Ar. with a few friends, we had so much fun.  I never went to one before, I didn't have any clue how it was going to be like, what I was supposed to do, ask, interact.........The actors and actresses were so friendly, they interacted with us the whole night, they brought the best side of Sherlock Holmes out of me, lol, I am not kidding. Thanks goodness they gave us hints what to ask and stuff, I was still pretty clueless for a while.  I thought it would be like what I saw on TV, the light would be off suddenly, and you would hear a gun shot, BANG, some one would drop dead. You got to check out this unique candy/goodies store - Lil Sweet Shoppe in Marion, Ar. After going to the Christmas Open House at the Lil Sweet Shoppe, I have to write another blog to brag about their amazing goodies: lemon squares, pumpkin bread, pumpkin rolls, banana nut bread, brownies, cinnamon sugar pecan, cookies.  Oh my gosh, they are so good, and cheap, yes, cheap! The color of Fall in Marion, Ar., finally! Even though Fall has arrived Marion a little while back, the temperature has been very pleasant and actually pretty warm most of the time.  I have been watching this tree outside our office for about a month, the color keeps changing little bit by little bit.  Finally, today, it has became pretty visible red, ahhh........         It was only a leaf or two turned red when it was in the mid of October. Marion Church of God is going to fry the turkey for your Thanksgiving Dinner Do you like deep fry turkey for Thanksgiving dinner?  I have never tried to fry one myself, but last year was my very first time to taste a fried turkey for Thanksgiving and it was gooooood! I didn't cook it, I bought it already cooked, deep fried to golden brown and yummy, from Marion Church of God.  This is their fund raiser event for their church retreat, they are selling for $30 each from now till 11/17/10, and you can pick it up on 11/24/10, Wednesday anytime after 10 am at their church. Winterize your house if it is vacant and it is on the market................ Is your property on the market for sale and it is vacant?  Cold temperature is approaching and if you don't want to worry about pipes get frozen, you may want to consider winterizing the property. This process can be done easily and inexpensively by a plumber.  I have helped a client to winterize their property which was on the market last year during the cold months, and they already moved out of town.  It was a good decision indeed.  Thanks goodness we did, we had quite a few frozen nights dipped under the teens temperature. Winterizing the vacant property can give you peace of mind, and avoid frozen pipes and extensive damages to the property. Babes in Toyland-Marion Christmas Parade on December 2, 2010 in Marion, Ar                                The annual Marion Christmas Parade is coming!  It will be here on December 2, 2010 from 6:30 to 8:00 pm., starting from Marion Shopping Center, Block Street to Military Road over the railroad track and ending at the Courthouse Square.  The theme of this year is Babes in Toyland, how cute is that?  I can already see the pretty lighted floats, cars, maybe even horses strolling along the way.  It is so easy to enter the parade, you can walk, it can be marching bands, singing groups, bring your horse if you have one, trailers no longer than 16 feet, ATV, and car, of course, but only passenger vehicles.  Just remember the deadline to put an entry is November 19, 2010.
