She received a better education than most other girls for that time. Living in London she met and married William. In 1644 they migrated to the U.S. settling in Boston. There she worked as a midwife. During the week she hosted meetings providing commentary over the recent sermons. As you can tell back then it caused a lot of controversy. But first let me tell you he influenced such people as James R. Amon, Thomas R. Amos and Armistead H. Miller to name a few. All of them went on to become ordained ministers. However, his most noted fame is when he founded Ashmun Institute, which later became Lincoln University located in Pennsylvania. The Institute was founded in 1854 and became a pub...

Mansuetude is the word of the day. All of us young, old or somewhere in between has this problem.  I’ll call it a good problem but when you learn the meaning you may call me names.  Anyway I have this problem when I’m around family so I guess now is as good a time as any to give you the meaning of (man’swi tood) which is gentleness; tameness.  So how many people are you gentle to?

Do you “elucidate” your clients? I sure do and I bet you do to.  The thing is how do you do it?  For me it all depends on the client.  Some need more of this than others and some just want you to get on with it.  So the other question is how you determine which one to use.  OK the meaning of (e loo’se dat’) to make light or clear, to make clear, explain.  What say you?

I like a big “ambry” it’s just me. I remember my mom’s home had a large one and I enjoyed going in there.  Now these are hard to find.  I sure do miss those days but the memories will last me all my days.  Not much left to say about these so here is the meaning of (am’bre) a cupboard, locker or pantry.  In my mom’s home she had a walk in pantry and it was sooooo big.  Needless to say she had it stocked to the ceiling great memories.
