Bailey is the new word of the day. OK I could not get this one by the wife.  Although she did not nail it she came so darn close while writing this I can’t help but to shake my head in disbelief of how she knew this.  We as agents should know this word but just to be sure I looked in my handy dandy workbook.  You know the one we used to study for the exam.  Anyway it’s not in there so the meaning of (ba’le) is the outer wall or court of a medieval castle.  With some of the homes being built now I think the word or term should be used more frequently what say you?

Doyen is the new word of the day. You know your agency has one as so does mine.  The question is are you the one?  As I’m writing this you know I have a smile on my face for those of you who doesn’t know the meaning of this word which reminds me I might as well tell you the meaning of (doi’en) is the senior member of a group.  I’m usually senior of any group I’m associated with what say you?

Pomander is the new word of the day. Haven’t worn one of these but after reading its meaning I might start with some homes.  Not really but it would be nice if these things work.  So now would be as good as a time to tell you the meaning of (po’man der) a mixture of aromatic substances balled together and carried about with one, esp. formerly as a supposed safeguard against infection.  Some of the homes I’ve been in and the smell that goes with it wish I had one of these.  What say you?

Felsenmeer is the new word of the day. Don’t know about you but I see them on a daily basis.  In my newest listing if you look at the photos you can see this.  Got you curious?  Well let’s see if I can give you a hint Huuuummm let me see it has to do with land.   Now that you know the meaning for those of you who haven’t guessed it the meaning of (fel’zen mir’) is an area that is usually found on gentle slopes above the timberline, covered with a layer of weathered rocks and boulders.  I know I just know all you agents got this one right didn’t you???

Adamantine is the new word of the day… Morning all it’s a lovely day today and the sun hasn’t came over the tree tops.  Anyway before I get too off the subject I’ve had clients with this problem.  There have been times I’ve had this problem.  Now come on and tell me it will be just between us and I won’t tell anyone else.  By the way the meaning of (ad’e man’ tin) of or like adamant, very hard as unyielding; firm.  So now what say you?

Coruscation is the new word of the day... I possess this sometimes.  You did catch the sometimes didn’t you?   Anyway it doesn’t happen often and as I grow in age the time frame seems to be getting longer and longer between them.  There are people whom I know and have known who possess this and still can use it at will.  Now for the meaning of (kor’eska’shen) is a sudden brilliant display as of wit.  What did you expect from me something informative?  Enjoy the day.

Shrive is the new word of the day. Are you one of these?  People tell me this all the time and I feel sometimes it’s a good thing while at other times I feel it’s a curse.  I think most of us as agents to our clients there are certain things we need to know and the other stuff is just them getting it off their chest.  If you haven’t figured it out by now the meaning of (shriv) is to hear confessions.  So how many confessions have you heard in your careers?  Bet ya could write a book about it.

Hereat is the new word or the day. Why this word is even spoken of I don’t understand.  I just can’t understand the meaning on one hand and then on the other it makes complete sense.  Sound confusing?  You bet ya it is and once you understand or read it’s meaning you to will be confused.  Now for the meaning of (hir at’) at this time; when this occurred.  For me I ask what time and what occurred.  So now I’m more confused and I guess it’s (hereat) for me to go (hereat) :~)

Gustation is the new word of the day. OK don’t know about you but I like doing this.  Some things don’t come up to this level but most things do.  I’m partially fond of adult beverages but I’ve had to cut back for various reasons. Anyway I won’t bore you with the other stuff but now is as good a time as any for the meaning of (ges ta’shen) is the act of tasting, the sense of taste.  A tasteless substance for me is water and I’m supposed to drink more of that than anything.

Tchotchke is the new word of the day That’s right you heard it here first.  The origin of the word is Yiddish and I read it in a book last night.  Not that I was born last night (actually night before last) but who’s counting.  Anyway I had I just had to look this one up and low and behold here it is.  The meaning of (chach’ke) is a knickknack, collectible, trinket.  So how many clients have you had that absolutely refused to get rid of their trinkets?

Hirsutism is the new word of the day Can you guess what the word of the day stands for?  Come on just take a look at me and it should knock you down it’s so obvious.  While I feel sorry for people with this problem I would like to have it once in my life.   OK time to give the meaning to (hur’soot iz’em) a heavy abnormal growth of hair, and with that being said there is only one thing left to say

Ever had someone pull a “levant” on you? You bet ya I have more than once.  The problem is I know it’s going to happen again but I do hope it is not as often.  Of course while you’re reading this post start wondering how many times this has happened to you.  Now I guess it would be a good time to give you the meaning of (le vant’) is to disappear unexpectedly, leaving unpaid debt.  So now what say you?

Not a trick word do you have a “kluge”? Who would have thunk it a new word for me anyway about a problem I bet most of you didn’t know it existed.  I knew of a person who had worked for this industry at one time.  I was told by her when someone returned one of these they would take the parts out that worked and used them on another new product.  The meaning of (klooj) is a computer, made up of, or improvised from, mismatched parts.  I have not confirmed this but it could be true.  So now how many of you are using a computer that might not be what you think it is?

Are you a “janizary?” Well before you get started I was at one time in my life but not now.  I’ll bet most of you were at one time also but I think most agents are not this that’s why we are what we are independent contractors.  So if you haven’t figured it out by now the meaning of (jan’I zere’e) is any very loyal or submissive follower or supporter.  While it’s a good thing to be loyal to your owner/PB no where have I read or been taught to be submissive.  Just don’t like the word as it is used in this text.  What say you?

Isn’t it nice to find an “empyreal” for your client? OK if you can’t figure this one out before I give you the meaning you would be like me if I was reading this.  You can tell when you first open the door and the look in your clients’ eyes or the first words out of their mouth.  Hint…. Hint…. So the meaning of (em pir’e el) is heavenly; sublime.  You know you have a winner when the sparkle hits their eyes or WOW comes out of their mouth.  Now where did I put that contract?  Enjoy your day

I’ve suffered from “ringent” have you? While browsing through Webster’s® today I came across this word and was trying to figure out how to use it in a post.  This has happened to me in the past and I’m sure it will happen again.  The question I would ask you if it has ever happened to you or one of your clients?  The meaning of (rin’jent) is having the mouth wide open; gaping.  So how many times has this happened to you?

Are you “pugnacious” when it comes to your clients? You’re darn Skippy I am when it comes to this.  In fact I’ve come close to going over the line because I believe so much in this.  Since I began in this business I’ve tried to curb this tendency.  You know it’s very hard to do this for me anyway the meaning of (pug na’shes) is eager and ready to fight; quarrelsome.  Are you ready to fight for your clients?

I’ve walked into a home that was “foudroyant” have you? I’ve done it a few times but not many.  All the homes my clients have purchased have risen to this quality.  I would like to think most property at one time or the other was this but then beauty is in the eye of the beholder.  Now for the meaning of (foo droi’ent) it is simply dazzling or stunning.  You know you have the right home when your client walks in and says WOW!!  What say you?

Do you “digitigrade’ around some of the homes you show? For some of you this won’t be hard to figure out before I give you the meaning. As for me I would not have a clue unless I read the rest of this post.  If you comment on this I would like to know what your first thought was before reading the meaning speaking of which the meaning of (-grad) walking on the toes with the heels not touching the ground.  So have you walked on your toes while showing property?  What say you?
