Little Johnny watched his daddy's car pass by the school playground and go into the woods. Curious, he followed the car and saw Daddy and Aunt Jane in a passionate embrace.   Little Johnny found this so exciting that he could hardly contain himself as he ran home and started to tell his mother. ‘Mummy, I was at the playground and I saw Daddy's car go into the woods with Aunt Jane. I went back to look and he was giving Aunt Jane a big kiss, and then he helped her take off her shirt. Then Aunt Jane helped Daddy take his pants off, then Aunt Jane...'   At this point Mummy cut him off and said, 'Johnny, this is such an interesting story, let’s save the rest of it for supper time. I want to see the look on Daddy's face when you tell it tonight.'   At the dinner table that evening, Mummy as...

ATTENTION… Please join me in remembering YET ANOTHER great icon of the entertainment community. The Pillsbury Dough boy died yesterday of a yeast infection and trauma complications from repeated pokes to the belly. He was 71. Dough boy was survived by his wife Play Dough, three children, John Dough, Jane Dough, and Dosey Dough, plus they had one in the Oven. The Funeral was held at 3:50 for about 20 minutes. Those of you who want to contribute to funeral expenses may send a cashier’s check to his best friend James Dray at the address listed.

This is a cool word and I think you’ll like it.  The question is I bet you do this and not really knowing you do so.  In fact we do it all the time every minute of every day.  Even when you’re along driving your vehicle you will do this.  Are you ready for the meaning?  OK here goes the meaning of (di’ne mam’e tre) the process of measuring forces at work.  Now don’t you do this all the time?  With the broker, clients or family you do this daily.  Now use this word or at least think of it as you measure the work place.  Enjoy the day

We all have them regardless of how big or bad you are.  It may be the English language or math; maybe it’s getting up before a packed auditorium and giving a speech.  Whatever your hang-up is I suggest you find another agent who is not afflicted with your weakness.  Ask them for help and maybe in return you can help them with one of their weakness.  Who knows you can learn from each other.  Is this a great business or what???  Join Wordsmith on Activerain it’s a hoot…

Don’t know that I’ve done this but I sure have thought about it at times.  Not so much at work but going to a clients’ home or having them meet me someplace you just got to wonder.  Anyway before your clients start you might want to consider wearing one of these.  Now don’t get me wrong these types of clients are very far and few but they are out there.  The meaning of (-at’) to cover with a helmet, wearing a helmet.  Now how many former clients have you had where wearing a galeate would have suited you better?  Join Wordsmith on Activerain

In those old days, they cooked in the kitchen with a big kettle that always hung over the fire... Every day they lit the fire and added things to the pot. They ate mostly vegetables and did not get much meat. They would eat the stew for dinner, leaving leftovers in the pot to get cold overnight and then start over the next day. Sometimes stew had food in it that had been there for quite a while. Hence the rhyme: Peas porridge hot, peas’ porridge cold, pea’s porridge in the pot nine days old. Sometimes they could obtain pork, which made them feel quite special. When visitors came over, they would hang up their bacon to show off. It was a sign of wealth that a man could, "bring home the bacon." They would cut off a little to share with guests and would all sit around and chew the fat.  ...

I have more of these days than others.  While I strive to be successful sometimes I just can’t make headway but I still hang in there.  Now the thing I found that works for me is to get new wipers.  Now don’t get ahead of me or you might be embarrassed when you find out the meaning of the word.  We all have these days the important thing is how do you handle them.  The meaning of (miz’el) a misty rain; drizzle.  Nothing major is wrong you just can’t seem to get those wipers working right and see what’s ahead.  Tell me do you let those days get to you or do you get new wipers and see the problem?  Enjoy your day

Don’t bother trying to spell check this word as word does not recognize it.  I have found word does not recognize a lot of words being spelled by Webster’s © but what else is new.  I’ve experienced this on more than one occasion. I believe if we could un-harness the capacity of the human brain what accomplishments we could capable of.  Anyway enough of rambling the meaning of (tel’es the’zha) extrasensory perception of distant objects, events.  I believe in my days we called it déjà vu.

I know when I first saw this word and read its meaning I thought no way.  But after thinking about it for a few minutes we are all in this category.  We went to class to deal with some of this.  Now dealing with the human element is another thing.  We are counselors, educators and a host of other things.  The meaning of (fak tot’em) a person hired to do all sorts of work.  Bet ya didn’t know when you took the real estate exam you were going to hold that fancy title.

A blind bunny was hopping down the bunny trail and tripped over a large snake and fell, kerplop right on his twitchy little nose.   'Oh please excuse me,' said the bunny. 'I didn't mean to trip over you, but I'm blind and can't see.'   'That's perfectly all right,' replied the snake. 'To be sure, it was my fault. I didn't mean to trip you, but I'm blind too, and I didn't see you coming. By the way, what kind of animal are you?'    'Well, I really don't know,' said the bunny. 'I'm blind, and I've never seen myself. Maybe you could examine me and find out.'   So the snake felt the bunny all over, and he said, 'Well, you're soft, and cuddly, and you have long silky ears, and a little fluffy tail and a dear twitchy little nose. You must be a bunny rabbit!'    The bunny said, 'I can't than...

The local news station was interviewing an 80-year-old lady because she had just gotten married for the fourth time. The interviewer asked her questions about her life, about what it felt like to be marrying again at 80, and then about her new husband's occupation. "He's a funeral director," she answered. "Interesting," the newsman thought. He then asked her if she wouldn't mind telling him a little about her first three husbands and what they did for a living. She paused for a few moments, needing time to reflect on all those years. After a short time, a smile came to her face and she answered proudly, explaining that she had first married a banker when she was in her early 20's, then a circus ringmaster when in her 40's, and a preacher when in her 60's, and now in her 80's, a funeral ...

Science   "Let me explain the problem science has with religion."   The atheist professor of philosophy pauses before his class and then asks one of his new students to stand.  'You're a Christian, aren't you, son?'  'Yes sir,' the student says.  'So you believe in God?'  'Absolutely '  'Is God good?'  'Sure! God's good.'  'Is God all-powerful? Can God do anything?'  'Yes'  'Are you good or evil?'  'The Bible says I'm evil.'  The professor grins knowingly. 'Aha! The Bible! He considers for a moment. 'Here's one for you. Let's say there's a sick person over here and you can cure him. You can do it. Would you help him? Would you try?'  'Yes sir, I would.'  'So you're good...!'  'I wouldn't say that.'  'But why not say that? You'd help a sick and maimed person if you could. Most of us wo...

OK do I have you on this one?  It took me by surprise and I thought why not use this on in a post.  I have a partner who is very good at doing this.  She does this in a way I would not have but that’s her strength and I do not question her about it.  The meaning of (lim) to portray in words; describe.  She can describe in one sentence what it would take me a paragraph to do.

While I think we all strive to obtain this and most of us do there are some that just don't seem to get it.  They go off in their own little world and won't worry about it until they are under investigation by the Real Estate Commission.  I try and keep those people at arm's length if not a mile away.  The meaning of (in doo' bi te bel) that cannot be doubted; unquestionable.  Keep your contracts where there is no question about them and be safe.

I just finished reading a book and in one of the chapters it dealt with problems.  While I’m not really a fan of problems after reading the section I want more.  We all run into problems from day to day and if you’re still in the business you have overcome them.  Don’t like problems then stay at home.  The only people who don’t have any problems (for the present) are people in the cemetery on a permanent basis.  Since I’m in no hurry to join those people give me problems.

As I age it seems only yesterday when I was 16 and 18 how I wished and hoped that I would turn 21.  Now looking back it seems only yesterday I was 21 and how I would enjoy going back and turning some of the dumb things I’ve done around.  But anyway a person was asked what the most memorable thing about turning 100 was and without hesitation the person replied “I have outlived all of my enemies”.  I guess that’s one way of looking at it.

He said what?? I don’t believe it. OK now that you have got that out of the way no need to type it in word cause it’s not there. Everyone knows someone who is this. It may be your parents, teachers, broker or whatever but you know someone who is this. The meaning of (syood) a person who affects knowledge or understanding. Now who was that person in your life? For me it was my dad.

I was at the weekly meeting and the principal broker brought up this word.  I must admit I never heard of it until today.    This caught my attention and when I looked it up it’s a wonder why I did not notice it earlier.  Want to impress your clients use this word in a sentence.  The meaning of (an’ sil’ er e) A person whose work provides necessary support to the primary activities of an organization, institution, or industry.  Think of it when you sell a home you provide work for the title agency, new homes are built providing work for plumbers, electricians, brick layers and a host of other people.    All I can add is keep up the good work.
