It must be time for Moose to be out and About!  Driving home tonight I saw 7 count them 7 Moose! They were all grazing   Walking across the Highway   Hiding Behind Trees   Ducking from  Cars   One guy pulled over to take pictures and the Troopers pulled over, made him move his car and get out of the water with the moose!   Now that is the picture I wish I could have shared with you But the Trooper was in no mood to have us both stopped on the Highway!   Between Homer Alaska and Anchor Point Alaska Be Careful out there... Sunday Visitor...Hummingbirds Anchor Point Alaska Isn't it amazing that a creature this small can come all the way from Mexico to Alaska  Visit for a couple of days and then fly back? Another Earthquake in Happy Valley Alaska  this morning 3.6 on the Richter scale... Yesterday was 4.0 This is 8 good sized earthquakes over 2.5 in the last 3 days in our area.... Moose Reunion Anchor Point Alaska   Sundays are always a day for family dinners and get-togethers...   Today my home seemed to be the hot spot for moose reunions   There were at least 4 Moose in my yard today.... on both sides.... So got back just in time for the Snow to fall and start to pile up .... Pretty to look at but I have to acclimate to this again... FISH ON...Anchor River, Anchor Point Alaska The Fish must be running on the Anchor River because the fisherman are lined up on the highways  and down in the Anchor River Park... they were almost combat fishing.... And the smiles on the faces show they are catching not just fishing!   Steelhead and Dolly Varden are the catch of the day... Scott Connelly AKA The Land Man The Kachemak Board of Realtors is sponsoring a Fund Raiser to help Scott Connelly with his Medical Bills.  Scott Connelly who we all know and love as one of the good guys out there....had not one but TWO Open Heart Surgeries in February…It started at the Homer Hospital and involved a helicopter ride and emergency transfer to Providence Hospital in Anchorage.He was there for about 5 weeks and that means huge bills!
