It goes without saying that your doors are an important part of your home. They provide security, help to control the temperature, and even play a big part in the overall look of your home. Your front door is one of the first things that people notice when coming to your home, and the state that your door is in can have a noticeable impact on the impression that people have of your house and property. Stop and think about it for a moment: What sort of a message is your front door sending? If you don’t like what your door is saying or aren’t really sure how others view it, you might consider getting an upgrade. There are a few different types of updates you can give to your door depending on what you want and the sort of budget you’re dealing with, so you definitely have options. Here are...

Our local news channel features Steve Spangler, the Science Guy, and he ALWAYS has some great ideas for kids.   Today it was very timely --- fake blood.    This recipe would have been convenient some years depending on the costume for the year. ITEMS NEEDED:16 oz. powdered sugar1 oz. red food coloring1 Tablespoon cocoa powder8 oz. waterBlenderPaper towels for cleanup Add one of these items at a time and be sure it blends well, then add the next item.    When he was on the news, depending on the consistency, or color, he added Hershey's syrup and corn starch to thicken the "blood".

I have been noticing some homes in the Manchester NH Real Estate Market, are staying on the market a little longer. I did not have long to ponder why, when I noticed another trend. I have received quite a few inquiries over the last month where the different people seemingly ask the same question. "Why isn't my home selling?" The first thing to note, is they are not any sellers of homes I have listed. The immediate thought that came to me was, "Why are they reaching out to me?" It did not take long for the sellers to tell me they either saw one my online posts or saw a sign on a home I just listed go from For Sale to Sold quickly. I do ask what their address is so I can look up their property in the MLS. Sometimes the reason their home may not be selling pops right out at me. Take this ...

Thank you Jackie A. Graves for your original blog.  A mortgage the Federal Housing Administration backs is known as an FHA loan. FHA loans are unique from other mortgages and home loans. They’re often helpful for first-time homeowners because they offer a combination of a lower down payment requirement and lower credit score standards. The following are some of the critical factors when it comes to qualifying for an FHA loan. Credit Score Requirements The minimum credit score for an FHA loan approval is 500. That’s lower and often significantly lower than lender requirements for traditional mortgages. The lower credit score requirements are a big reason this is an appealing program for first-time buyers. While the FHA has guidelines for credit score minimums, that doesn’t automatically ...

Fall is a wonderful time of the year! There are so many fun events in Austin to check out. This week-end is the Formula One Nascar racing!Of course in Texas football is huge; youth league flag football, pop warner, high school or college football, you have plenty of games to choose from. Now with our Q2 Stadium and new Austin FC professional soccer team we added another dimension to the sports arena. In the fall one thing I always like to take advantage is various symposiums offered on the Financial Market Outlook, the Housing Industry and Real Estate in general. It’s the time of year to be planning for 2022 and how the market will affect my business. Formulating a game plan is a fall activity or at least it should be. If you wait until the first of the year others have already set thei...

Wordless Wednesday...Keep Walking Larry! When we were out walking this week there were two vultures hanging out on the street lights. They’re pretty menacing looking...I always associate them with roadkill, although I’ve learned that some black vultures don’t wait to dine on already dead carrion but may hunt for live creatures. Keep walking Larry...we don’t want that vulture to think you’re his breakfast!
