My take on video marketing for real estate and specifically videos of the "local area" is that it may work in geographically specific areas. To each their own. 
As a consumer, I will not be calling the agent for real estate because that agent has videos on the local area and things to do in the area. 

That is a question marketing, advertising & public relations people ask all the time. For me? It gets to the point. If it is clever, maybe that too. NO commercials, over-talky or filler or you lose me

Videos of real estate are a call to action on behalf of buyers, especially younger buyers. If you are active in the market as a listing agent it is time to add this tool to your toolbox. As a selling agent, with permission, you can be a step ahead by sending videos to potential buyers. The "new" service separator. 

I don't watch many videos, pretty much when I am looking for how to do something, but that is about it.

I will watch a how to do video, but I don't leave a like or share unless it is crucial to watch. Concerning Real Estate, I have posted some and I have shared to give customers what it really looks like in person. The video I share was of the path to Lake Norris. My customers appreciated the video.

I try to like most videos that I watch, unless I dont like them.

I comment if there is something to say, or sometimes just to share a compliment.

Few get shared though.

I like many videos and share specific ones when the video has a message or humor that would be of interest to those it's shared with.

Value of the information.

I almost never share a video, unless it's funny or showing something that the media overlords are trying to hide (like the lies that haitian migrants are not eating ducks and pets).

Aside from that, a like is something that I want to go back to again (since these are tracked) but content that is not significant enough to go into a saved playlist or get downloaded for offline storage.

When I'm trying to research something, the LAST thing I want to see is a youtube link.
