Always, in the last few years. I always send PDF copies for review and questions before we sign electronically.

I have had a few clients that do not use email in the past and have done live signatures when needed.

Depends on the client.  People who are veteran home sellers/buyers, e-sig for sure.  First timers or someone who needs handholding or explanations, I do things in person and get wet signatures.

For routine forms, YES

Buyer Brokerage Contracts, Listing contracts, Offers, other major documents...  NO

Sitting at a table or a desk, face to face, and signing with wet ink, creates "an event", maybe even a bond.   Electronic / digital cannot match that.

Virtually ALL . . . even my 80 year olds can do it

My E/O wants it, the signatures are legible, encrypted and hold up in court.

I've had Docusign since 2002. When I've called for support and give my account number I've been asked 'where's the rest of it?' it's only 5 digits! LOL
I ALWAYS send a SAMPLE DRAFT, before we decide how it will look as an offer. We review. Then, specific offer in DRAFT form and we interact over phone or via email to address any questions. Then it goes for signatures.

100%

Haven't done live signatures in over 15 years with one exception, she was 50% blind & deaf and 95 years old - God bless her - and I not only signed them live, I had her good friend & next door neighbor sit with us to witness all I told her to cover my liability and assure her I was legit.
Normally - I explain all the docs on Zoom or by phone normally. There's rarely a reason or an issue with doing it this way.

Most of them. I try to go over the sales contract prior to writing one, so that when it is time, the buyer already knows what to expect and can consult an attorney about any questions beforehand. Then I can whip it up fairly quickly in the documents program and send it over for signature. Nice and legible offer then sent off to the LA.

Yes.  Most of my clients I never meet in person.  Docs are all e-signed.

I get all documents signed electrically after the client has had a chance to review and discuss the pfd copies that I send before the DocuSign copies.

I have avoided them , wanting to meet clients to explain the paperwork.  Advantage in doing this is there are rarely communication issues.

Almost exclusively. I provide sample copies of all transaction documents to clients who want to review with me in advance. But once we are "ready to go," it's all done on line. I recall an elderly couple who had not had experience with e-signing. I walked them through it. They were "in love" with the process and through out the transaction regularly called me asking if by chance I had any more documents for them to e-sign!

It was becoming more common as I was entering retirement and focused on new construction high end homes. Those contracts were inked in person. In the last 8 years or so, all electronic for transactions.

When possible, meeting in person is best. If not convenient for them, sending everything electronically works, though I still explain all documents thoroughly.

Most times but, I have had several elderly clients who do not use their computers. I have also been taking the Working with Real Estate Agents (explaining agency) & the BA Agreement to meet with buyers prior to showing a home and that is explained and then ink-signed.

I do love my DocuSign though!

About 50%, but we've seen more identity fraud with lots in the recent 12 months than in the past 20 years.  So might be meeting more face to face with absent sellers before we sell.
