AI has zero effect on me . . . I do look at reviews but I do it backwards - LOL I go straight for the ONE STAR reviews and see what their problem is. If it's a problem I think may be legit and a deal breaker for me - I move on
EVEN MORE annoying are the SHILLS on social media who ALL say how wonderful the product is - my personal favorite - 'I lost 30 lbs in a week using this' no the f you didn't. LOL

Agree. I don't need 'something' to make a decision on a product for me.
I still have to find out how to turn off the AI feature that shows 1st in Google.

Amazon did not post my review since it was a third party involved. .They listed 5 categories as a possible reason not to post.
I filled in a gift card with method of payment. Gift arrived in a rural location at the front door. Many use back doors in the country. When my clients finally saw the package they called around to solve the mystery of who sent them this wonderful piece of metal art work.
When I phone 48 hours later they were elated to discover it was me.
Same thing happened when I sent 3 books that required 3 different deliveries with no gift card.

Reviews are often useless, tough to determine which are real.

AI only adds to the confusion of seating the honest from the dishonest. Same story different day.

Too many phony reviews online. I never read them. Artificial Intelligence = Artificial Answers. Don't need them. It's going to get worse. Google and facebook are going all in with AI. many fb pages now are created by AI, they take photos from legitimate sites, doctor/edit them with AI, them post them as if the photos were theirs.

I don't want a bundle review. I wish we could just turn off AI on the browser unless we turn it back on.

Yes, if you search on Google AI seems to sum up everything. Sometimes it's helpful.

I've never encountered a situation where I could definitively identify AI as the author of a review. However, AI-generated videos attempting to pass as authentic are increasingly common online, as are AI-altered photos. Detecting AI in written text is significantly more challenging—how can one conclusively determine whether a piece was authored by AI or a human? Incidentally, this entire comment was crafted by AI—truth be told! 😂

When I purchase online, I do read the reviews, I taking them with a grain of salt. The good thing about amazon, is that if the product is not what expected, you can return.
I just noticed a company who promotes the three cities in our county via email every month. Everything from restaurants to activities and busiiness. An add on their website stated, "Stellar Real Estate" Well, one must pay to be on that list. Many companies are paying for AI for reviews and to be on top of mind. I don't see it going away, so one must proceed with caution.
