Unlike past years where Q4 is typically the strongest, this year is closing at a slower pace.  I am enjoying the season.

It has slowed, more than it had for the past year.  Since Labor day, it seems as if the market was pumping the brakes.

A few days here and there. Q4 is always my highest earning and this one's no exception . . . 

Peter, we do typically see a dip as we go through the holidays. We'll still have people buying and selling but not as much. However, nothing is typical these days so only time will tell.

Generally until New Year's and then we're off again with a spring rush because I sell Lake properties and everyone wants the summer on the water.  We see a flood of listings hit around January and February as a rule.

Homes are selling very quickly in our market. Those who take too much time off for the holidays risk missing opportunities.

Things are slow till Dec 26 I always think over the years.

When active in RE Peter Mohylsky, Beach Expert I never experienced (or noticed) a RE holiday mode. If there were a "mode" for buying it may have been the month of June for me with the flood of newly weds.

On a personal note Easter is my holiday. Many "saviors" have been born throughout history but only one has ever risen from the dead.

I do not spend too much time in the holiday mode but I enjoy having family dinners and reaching out to my past clients to catch up:)

Peter our market doesn't go to 'sleep' during the holiday season as, like you guys, we have a lot of winter visitors in town now through the spring.

I haven't really seen the spirit that accompanies the holidays this time of year. Two wars, economy issues, unaffordable housing, high prices, crime are effectively suppressing "joy to the world" in general. Privately? I remain grateful but always wonder about the less fortunate, or the struggling

I have always started setting up for the next year once Halloween arrives.  This is the best time to be top of mind once the new buying and selling season approaches it's momentum.

The Thanksgiving holiday was a day off to celebrate with family. All other days of November are regular days of doing business. Some chose to slow down or delay their decisions and I used the free time to cultivate others.

The holidays, family get togethers are prime time to showcase your property listings. To promote your area. Agent, broker better not be sleeping, snoozing, on holiday mode.
