I always have canned food, bottled water, flashlights, batteries, etc. on hand but need to get everything in one place and inventory it to see if anything is missing. It doesn't look like this will be a threat to us in east central Florida and I hope it does not cause any major problems for anyone on the west coast or panhandle. Stay safe.

As far as I know, the area I live in will not directly be impacted by a tropical depression.

However, there are enough other things in the State of Depression California to be depressed about. 

Prayers for Safety for all life that may be impacted.

Always. I do think that everyone should have non-perishable food and stored water on hand in case the grid gets knocked out.

     Having been through quite a few hurricanes over the years, we Floridians stay prepared.  We keep canned food, bottled water, propane tanks for the gas stove, first aid kit, oil lamps, flashlights, enough stock to last a couple of weeks.  And we keep at least half a tank of gasoline in the cars.

If you are on the Gulf Coast of Florida from Charlotte County north into the panhandle now is the time to prepare for an expected Wednesday arrival. Storms provide a warning they are coming but seldom provide an exact location or time. Not a welcome guest.

I always have chargers, food, batteries, water, etc.  You learn to keep those kind of things around when you live in Florida.  I don't think we're in the path, but will be watching.  You never know when these things can make a turn.

We returned home from HHI yesterday and friends stayed for the duration of the week. I am confident they'll be heading home to Charlotte tomorrow afternoon...at least I hope they will.
