Hello Kimberly Moore it is interesting that inventory seems slow in South Lake Tahoe.

I have heard that Scottsdale is considered a resort market and it seems to be doing just fine, low on inventory of course.

They seem to be selling pretty darn good at our resort in Palm Springs. I would say roughly a week or so and the pending sign is up. 

Sales are down due to low inventory, but prices are still way up.  Inventory is creeping up. 

Clueless - but a scientific wild a$$ guess would be some local markets are slow and some are doing their thing. In some markets those with deep pockets can pay cash.

Seems "every" type of market is dealing with slow inventory.  2023 is going to be an interesting year!  Hang on for the ride -- 2024 is coming!

We have a brand new resort starting to take reservations this June.  I will be curious how these go - 67 homesites in the first phase.

Sandestin Resort along the Gulf Coast currently has 369 active listings, 139 pending listings and 966 sold over the last year. 244 sold over the last 90- days.  These are single family homes and condo's.    I am scratching my head with these numbers.  

Our PebbleCreek, AZ. area seems to be doing just fine with home selling quickly.

As they say "all Real Estate is local" Kimberly Moore . What is going on around the lake... things like new taxes, the condition of the lake with all the rain flowing into it right now???

Denver isn't a resort town, but inventory is still very low.   My clients don't want to list, as the interest rates are too high to find a replacement home just now.

The likelihood of substantial new development in the Lake Tahoe area is small. The old Will Rogers quote, "Buy  land. The ain't making any more of the stuff." is very applicable.

We're not a resort ares. Inventory is down and sales are down. However, what we have is selling pretty well. 

Life's unexpected changes affect resort home owners often as they get older and cannot continue to enjoy their vacation homes.

Make sure to contact these people and find out who is ready to sell.

It's Spring on the Beautiful Colorado River . . . also this week is Bike Week with 30k motorcycles buzzing about and 100 degrees (those things theoretically 'should' slow things down . . . but)

I spoke with an agent of mine yesterday, and she had put one listing up waiting for an offer, preparing another and showing property . . . this is our life at this time of year!

In July, not long after the Fourth . . . it will be 120 and humidity starting to rise . . . our season will begin to wind down and after Labor Day, only those who NEED to move will be moving . . . it's very seasonally predictable here!

I hear that some resorts are picking up in our mountains now.
